Lotus Herbals is the brand I have been trusting a lot lately for my skin care. I used their APRISCRUB' Fresh Apricot Scrub and loved it so I thought I should give the other variants a try. This one caught my eyes due to Oatmeal & Yogurt.Packaging:-It comes in a shiny white coloured tube packaging with a silver cap on it. The packaging looks really classy and chick. The cap is quite sturdy and it won't open on it own. Its is travel-friendly.Smell:-In my opinion, it smells like POP (Plaster of Paris) I know it's weird but this is what is smells to me.Color And Consistency:-Again it looks and feels just like a grainy mix of POP. The first time I used it, it reminded me "Plaster Room" our college' (All the dentists will understand this. You can't get that plaster room out of your mind easily)My Experience:-I started using it after I finished my APRISCRUB' Fresh Apricot Scrub from the same brand and I felt that it's much milder than the Apriscrub. The consistency is just perfect. Amount and size of the granules are great for sensitive skin.It spreads easily and the granule scrubs gently every bit of dead skin and dirt particle that's there on your face. It leaves skin silky, smooth and brighter. My face feels glowing after using it. It doesn't foam up, unlike the Apriscrub. It's very mild so people with sensitive skin can also use it.As far as whiteheads and blackheads are concerned I don't see a huge difference in that. I think Apriscrub worked batter on that front. And there was no whitening effect on my skin (In case you were wondering).Overall it's a good scrub. Would be great for sensitive skin. I have been using this scrub for a month and I can see a noticeable difference in my skin tone and texture. It gently exfoliates the skin and removes dirt, impurities, blackheads and whiteheads. It also moisturizes the skin and makes it soft and smooth. It has a pleasant fragrance and does not irritate my sensitive skin. It gives a fair glow to my skin and makes it look radiant and healthy. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to brighten their complexion and improve their skin quality. It is worth the price and lasts long. It is one of the best products from Lotus Herbals.

Lotus Herbals has recently launched their new Skin Care range called “WHITEGLOW”.Skin whitening formulas have never attracted me much but I thought of trying one from this range because Lotus is one of my favorite brands. I picked the White Glow Face scrub ..Product Description :WHITEGLOW Oatmeal & Yogurt Skin Whitening Scrub exfoliates the skin gently, removes dirt, impurities, whiteheads and blackheads leaving your skin brighter and healthier with a shining glow.PROS :• Goodness of oatmeal and yogurt packed in a convenient tubular form.• Skin feels bright and fresh after using the scrub.• Most of the claims are true I feel – brightens the skin and gives a subtle glow which lasts for few days, removes dullness, dirt, impurities, whiteheads etc.• Texture is not very thick, it is quite smooth may be due to presence of yogurt and thus spreads very easily on face.• I like the oatmeal granules which is a change from the common apricot granules found in most other scrubs.CONS :• Contains Parabens – though these are common preservatives in many skin care/cosmetic items, presence of parabens in Lotus which is a brand projected so far as HERBAL is definitely a downside I feel.My Rating would be : 4.5 out of 5
