The dell laptop charger works like a charm. My laptop is normally not charging overnight and when I plug it it in to start work it charges my laptop in minutes. I purchased a 'comparable charger' early last year to save money and it barely kept my laptop charged. Learned my lesson and will not stray from a Dell product again.'

Very fast shipping! Cord/charger fits my Dell Inspiron 17 5755!My Dell laptop stopped 'recognizing' my previous PWR+ charger and completely stopped charging. I was told that Dell laptops could be very picky and really only work with original Dell chargers. I then looked at all large box stores for a replacement, but no one carries original Dell cord/chargers anymore. Best Buy wanted $69.95 for a universal charger with several different size heads that they said 'might' work! No, thank you. So glad I found this one online. I'm up and running again - and at a much better price! :)

The charger that I received was perfect, new and arrived quickly.It also worked perfectly, but it was incorrect for my laptop. When I plugged it in, so happy to see it show the charging light, I thought my problem was over, but it was not. As soon as I powered the laptop on, it showed a message stating that my laptop required a 65W charger, and the 45W would not charge it.The description said that it would service my Dell Inspiron 5559, but in fact, it would not.Make sure that the wattage is correct for the charger that you actually need, I got careless, and now await another new Dell charger, 65W this time!

I have a 17 inch screen Dell 5759. It requires a 65 watt charger. I reorder the 65 watt but decided to keep the 45 watt charger for a spare. It seemed to work until I got the 65 watt one.

This charger works perfectly with my Dell Inspiron 15 7579 laptop. I was so upset when the charger that came with my laptop broke after just two years and me being super careful with it. I am a college student so I needed a quick, cheap solution to my dead laptop. This charger came on time with prime delivery and saved me from having to spend $60 on the same charger at Best Buy. I think as long as your specific Dell model number is listed in the product description, then this charger will work for you. It definitely worked for me! Plugged it right in after opening and started working immediately! Totally recommend this product over the more expensive chargers especially since this is a genuine Dell charger and looks exactly like the one that originally came with my laptop. Thanks for saving this college student's butt who had two essays due!

We have had lots of trouble with this cord. My daughter's original cord no longer charged her computer, so we ordered this cord as a replacement. Only a couple days after she got her new cord, her computer did not charge properly anymore. Cord was loose in the computer and came out easily. We returned it and got another. After 5-6 months, it appears like the cord actually got fried! The three prong part where the two cords connect together has scorch marks on the male part and the female portion is partially burnt away. We could have had a fire with this cord!!! I think we should be able to return it and get a different cord because this one is not that good!
