I bought this for a gift for someone who played a door in Alice in wonderland- I'm mounting it on an easy with a background. It's not big at all- like e a Christmas ornament size, but it's heavy and the detail looks nice. I think it's priced a tad high at 16 dollars, but inflation is driving a lot of prices up, I guess.. I still bought it and kept it because there wasn't anything else like it. I could see the dollar tree carrying this if I were lucky, but alas....

Item arrived exactly as described, the original colors chosen are ugly which I knew prior to purchasing so just like other reviewers suggested, I painted it before gifting it to my little cousin and it turned out great! I used the colors of the door from the original movie as inspo. I have zero skills when it comes to painting so I used acrylic paint markers that I also purchased off Amazon making sure to let it fully dry in between the coats. The item itself has some weight to it so it's sturdy and seems well made. It's such a cute little door to add a whimsical touch to a room! You don't have to be a kid to want one in your living space. I think it's a cute little touch that's barely noticeable and it'll make people smile when they randomly happen to spot it in your home. I plan on purchasing another one and will paint that as well. I'll add a pic on how mine turned out after I QUICKLY painted it in a badly lit room. I think it's a great gift to give if you're willing to repaint it. But that's just my opinion! See for yourself!

It’s exactly as pictured and my imagination is going wild right now. I have tried to open the door twice already even though I know it doesn’t open. Hehehe. Thank you! This will make the Alice in Wonderland party complete now!
