Works as intended...
Years ago I was cheap. I bought aftermarket and wondered why my print quality suffered and why my printers would stop working in short order.I buy only OEM now - and this didn't disappoint. Great prints, so much so that people with printers themselves will often have me printing "the good ones" on mine.

Actually worth the price over generics
I used to buy generic toner, thinking that paying full price ($60 or so) for a single color toner was absurd. Then I started USING generic toner, and the streaking and smearing and screaming and running started. So I switched back to genuine HP stuff. It makes my printer happy, it makes my kids happy, it makes my wife happy. No more crappy printouts. Best to buy this here on Amazon, as brick-and-mortar stores tend to sell it for $100...

Expensive but works great
What can I say, it works extremely well.Clean install, very crisp print... like the original.I've used retred cartridges for my B&W and it's ok, but my partner now wants to print with this printer and HP cartridges since they are cleaner prints.What can I say, she didn't know it's different cartridges sources.If you want the best prints, chose HP.
