I realize different people like different styles of peelers. If you are used to peeling with a knofe, this is a great step up and the hand motion required is already similar to how you would use a knife. It lasts a long time and remains sharp, it’s super easy to clean and store. I only wish the peeling blade opening was a bit longer.

While this peeler looks plain and unassuming, it does a great peeling job. I switched to it after much nicer looking WMF peeler that I used for years before were altered and became unusable for potatoes. I tried several other options and now use this Victorinox, this is the second I bought.

This is a stationary peeler that doesn’t swivel. That is the only kind I can use and they’re hard to find. It may be a little flimsy but it works well and has an economical price point. I bought it as a backup in case something happens to my pricier peeler. It fits well in my hand and is easy to use.

I was looking for a peeler with fixed blade because the handle of mine, which I bought almost 20 years ago, was starting to broke. I was very disappointed with this one. The opening is very small, and it is very difficult to even get something to peel inside. When you finally get "something", it always gets stuck. In addition, seems to be a poor quality (the blade bends easily). I can't return because I threw away the original packaging before trying it. I'm looking again for another European peeler.

Purchased thinking of name and quality. Seems odd design in my opinion. Nothing bad, just ok. Blades don't seem at right angle.

This is just like the ones my mom had from Switzerland. The peels are a little on the thick side but I can live with that. It's still my preferred peeler.
