Q: How much water is needed for a meal? and or the whole bucket?

The large bags take 2-4 cups. Really the same as any other freeze dried meals.They taste good. SUPER cheap, and easy to store. Plus you get a freakin bucket, I mean come on a BUCKET!

Q: is it true yes or no you open the bucket then you lose 19 years of life or to 1 year left

It says directly on my bucket as of 2020 "unopened products included in kit retain their shelf life after kit container is opened" so if you open the bucket you're individual packets will still have a shelf life of 10-25 years based on food type and storage conditions. So anyone saying that opening the bucket lid lowers the shelf life to 1 year is lying.

Q: Are the bags re sealable or do you have to use all the contents in a package?

The bags are not resealable that being said they are Mylar bags so you can heat seal them if you need to.
