Have used numerous welding helmets and spent a small fortune trying to get one were I can actually see what Im welding this is the best so far going to buy another and keep hiding behind the nozzle and use auto darkening for stick and TIG which are a lot brighter

This mask cost over £26 . out of the packaging the visor part of this mask fell off and the headband had a part missing. I had to super glue the visor part of the mask and secure with tape. it's also very dark for plasma cutting and very poorly made, I can't believe they sell this for over £26. It really is a con for the price I would say think again before buying this rubbish....It's now in the bin and I have gone back to my old gas welding goggles 30yrs old and still good after all that time...would not recommend ....

Great idea with lots of visibility but the 8 shade is not suitable for welding and is probably no better than a pair of sunglasses.

I had promised myself one of these welding helmets for some time and now can't imagine using anything else. Very easy to set up and comfortable to wear.

this along with my ski mask is great. with the virus it adds that extra protect, anything coming out of anyones mouth wont get on you

The screen is about as effective as a pair of sunglasses.I attempted to make a weld whilst wearing the mask, as soon as soon as I struck the weld I got the entire brightness of the arc in my eyes. I immediately turned off the machine and removed the mask. Following that I could see a large purple circle in the middle of my vision for about a minute, after which this faded.Almost immediately I had a headache concentrated behind my eyes and in my temples.As I said before, I think I’m very lucky to have been trying to perform such a small weld at the time, with the machine set to low settings. If I had been using an arc welder or trying to produce a larger weld, I presume I could have been blinded.I continued to have sensitivity to light for the rest of the afternoon.
