Marcy Standard Weight Plate Tree for 1-Inch Plates for Home Gym, 300 lb. Max. Capacity PT-5733

I read in other reviews that this is not the best weights rack out there, that it is "flimsy" and unstable. Well let me correct you. I don't know if it is the best of all weights rack, but it sure is very strudy and not at all "flimsy". Mine looks and feels very well made. It came with all parts (I read some have received this with missing parts for some reason) and a very easy to understand how to install instructions. However, it was not at all the easiest to assemble. It took me 45 minutes to do it all on my own with no help. It wasn't easy. You have to have the skills of a rubber man to both hold the nut and the bolt at the same time and try keep the entire device in one place holding it from falling apart.Anyway, after 45 min. I had myself a pretty cool weights rack that holds all of my weights in one place. My room looks a lot more neat now and to me it is what matters the most.Worth buying.

Have been meaning to build a weight rack to complement the DIY dumbbell rack I made many years ago but decided to give this Marcy one a try. It’s well designed and manufactured and the fasteners are well organized and good quality.Assembly instructions are just graphics so you’ll probably have to redo some parts; just hand-tighten all fasteners until the whole thing is rough assembled and the details will make sense. Three hex keys are included; all you need is a crescent wrench or decent pair of pliers to hold the locking nuts while you tighten the machine screws.Once all the fasteners are snugged up firmly, the structure is quite stable. The 5 extensions that hold the plates wiggle a little but are just fine once a plate is loaded. It is holding 275 pounds of 1” ID plates, including multiple 50#, 25#, 10# $ 5# with no problems. Durability should be excellent.

A great tree that will do the job at a great price! Assembly was quick and easy took about 15 min the trees really compact which I like and holds my weights no problem. (300 Lbs) Few drawbacks to note there is play in the pegs no matter how tight you get the bolts. Also, there is a little sway if you apply pressure to the sides and wiggle it not the sturdiest of all weight trees and the bottom peg is skinny so unless centered and placed perfectly the weight will be lopsided as its a skinny (not Olympic size peg). At this price point though I can't complain it does the job as intended and if you're on a budget great addition to your gym to get your weights off the floor. Would recommend!

This was a gift item for a family member and they are very happy with it. Very easy to set up and it is of very solid construction. They are using it in their home gym. The size gives it a small footprint.

Seems to be adequate for what the price was. Would have like for it to be a bit more heavy duty. Was easy to install and has taken care of the "mess" of weights all around the bench.
