Winsome Wood Jera Coat Tree, Cappuccino

I was hesitant to order because of other reviewer's comments about holes incorrectly drilled, missing screws, main pole alignment, etc., but decided to take a chance based on the excellent price. I had looked at some antique hat trees that were in the $400 to $800 range to get something sturdy, but this design more closely resembled my dad's old hat tree of 60+ years ago but with more contemporary brushed nickel-look hardware. Further, this hat tree had the widest base of any for sale, which is crucial for stability.I am DELIGHTED to report that this tree assembled FLAWLESSLY, the wood finish was unmarred, all hardware was included, is very stable, and LOOKS GREAT!My only tweaks to make this an even better product and to differentiate it further from its competition would be to 1.), have the topmost hat hooks extend slightly further from the main pole to allow more space between hats if one has a full rack (as do I), and 2.), to have a third tier of full-size hat hooks equally spaced from the existing ones at the top of the pole. I don't personally have a need for the tiny hooks at the lower end of the pole, but other users might find a purpose. One observation: I found this same hat tree for sale from other vendors at different sites under different names and at different prices, all using exactly the same product photos. I ultimately went with the Amazon listed version due to Amazon's excellent return policies (that in this case were not needed).Overall, a job well done; I would highly recommend this product to others without reservation!

Easy to follow instructions. Material is solid and can hold many coats and lower hooks can hold purses and other small bags

A little tall, which might be good for some, but well made and sturdy. Carton damaged (which I knew when purchased), but product in perfect shape and all parts included. Some assembly required, but not difficult.

Easy to assemble with detailed instructions for a quality, pleasingly aesthetic product.

I was going for a speak easy, vintage type of decor, with a flair towards gentlemans home... In other words, bachelor pad without the stolen road signs and milk crates as an entertainment center.I'm not sure if I hit the mark, but if I didn't it's because of me, and not this coat rack. It's great looking, very sorry

I have been searching for the perfect coat tree to supplement a heavily used mud room. We live in MN and have lots of wet snow gear enter the home. This coat rack was selected because it has so many hooks (high and low) and looked like it had a sturdy base. After receiving the product I can say I am 100% pleased with the overall look of the coat rack and the sturdiness can't be beat. It is heavy like a coat rack should be. I have not had to load it up with a bunch of wet things yet, but I don't anticipate that wet or heavy items will be any issue for this sturdy workhorse. It took me about 20 minutes to put together -- from opening the box to final placement. I did have a power tool with a hex bit to make assembly faster, but it does come with the little Allen wrench.

I am very unhappy with the product, and more importantly with the complete lack of "customer service"This product was advertised as being: "Attractive and elegant coat tree in warm Antique Walnut Finish"To my wife and I none of that is true. We did assemble the coat tree and hoped that it would grow on us. That was our first mistakePlease read the companies return policy very carefully before considering buying one of these. Since saying we wanted to return it we were told that if the box had been opened we couldn't return it. Then when I told the company that they wouldn't like the review I was going to write they wrote back and told me they would take it back and charge me a 15% restocking fee, and that they would have to verify that we hadn't used it.How are you to know exactly what it looks like unless you open the box and assemble it?Earlier this morning I finally received an email from a manager of the company, Ethan Watson. He said:"Please note you will have to incur the cost of return shipment and we will process your refund subject to 15% restocking fee once we receive the item and inspect that the item is unused as we do not accept used items."In at least 2 emails to the company I'd sent to the company I'd told them it had been used. I guess the "manager" didn't read my emails, just like I hadn't carefully read the company "return policy" prior to making my purchaseIf I saw this unit at a discount store for $5.00 I wouldn't buy it*****In summary, this is not a piece of furniture that I am willing to display in my house. Unless you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you want, it I wouldn't recommend purchasing this*****
