Savory Choice Liquid Beef Broth Concentrate 5.1 Ounce Box (Pack of 2)

I bought this for some quick soups that I could make at work (and know what is in it). Works pretty well for this and I am still experimenting with different spice and sauce combos with the soup. It is pretty easy to make with a couple spoon fulls of dried veggies, some onion powder, garlic powder, hot sauce and pepper to taste. I did not need to add salt and noted that it is just a bit sweet (but that may have been due to the veggies). Flavor overall is good and probably better than a dried soup mix.Edit, bumped this up a star. Also had some more thoughts on quick DIY cup-o-soups, and made a few already which have been great. I am using a small handful of maifun rice noodles, Harmony House dehydrated Vegetable Soup (which is just dehydrated veggies), and various spices I have around like pepper, powdered onion and garlic, curry, turmeric, part of a star anise and basil (Thai Basil if I have it) - just a few shakes of each, heat everything a couple minutes till the noodles soften and then add the beef broth packet, then let everything cool a few minutes. I also add a good half teaspoon of chili garlic sauce (the one with the rooster on it). It ends up as a pretty passable spicy soup and I don't need to add salt (and I know pretty much what is in it).

Tasty, convenient and long-lasting when you only need a cup of broth every now and then.

However, once we got in a rhythm of cooking the meals, we thought it was a little too expensive and started using the recipes to make our own meal kits. I was introduced to Savory Choice broth concentrates while I was experimenting with a few meal delivery kits and was really impressed with the amount of flavor that is packed into these tiny packets. I used to always keep both chicken and beef broth on hand for soups/sauces but found it super wasteful and costly. I rarely used an entire carton and they go bad if not used within 7 days, not to mention taking up valuable space in the fridge. So when I realized these were just as good if not better than what I had been using, taking up a fraction of the space and were more cost efficient, I was sold. I have tried nearly all of their "flavors" and my favorites are the beef, chicken and seafood. While I am disappointed that I am no longer able to buy them direct from Savory Choice, I am relieved to be able to get them on Amazøn for a great price.

THIS IS DELICIOUS!!!! I’m on a Low Fodmap Diet and this is the best stock (and I’ve tried them all!) I highly recommend

This has a delicious, beefy flavor, and I love how convenient the packets are. Saltier than I imagined, tho. Next time I’m going to get the low-sodium as that would allow me to sometimes double up on the flavor intensity without brining the meal!

I’ve repurchased this many times. Worth every penny as it can be used in ways normal bullion can not. A must have in my kitchen for fall/winter cooking.

Tired of the junk in your grocery store. Get this brand for your beef, chicken and vegetable stocks. This is one item I reorder from Amazon regularly. No artificial, tinny, metallic taste. Not salted, so adjust to taste.
