⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Flawless Performance Under Pressure – The Backbone of Our Jujitsu Competition Tech Setup
We recently used the GL.iNet GL-X3000 (Spitz AX) router to run our Jujitsu competition, where we rely on Smoothcomp (online competition management and scoreboard software) — and this device was a total game-changer.We needed a router that could connect multiple laptops, provide stable internet access for both live scoring and admin use, and offer a reliable backup plan in case the venue’s Wi-Fi failed. The Spitz AX handled all of it effortlessly.🔹 Real-World Use at a Busy Competition:The router connected all laptops to one central point via both wired and wireless connections. The Wi-Fi 6 capability meant no lag or dropout, even with high usage and a crowded hall. The dual-SIM support gave us peace of mind — we slotted in a primary Three 5G SIM with 500GB/month, and a second SIM as a backup. If anything went wrong with the main connection, we knew we had instant failover.🔹 Simple Setup, Professional Reliability:Setup took less than 10 minutes — the web interface is intuitive, and it’s based on OpenWRT, so if you know what you’re doing, you can go deep on customisation. But even out of the box, it just works. The detachable antennas helped boost signal reception in a large sports venue with tricky coverage.🔹 Features Built for Business:This isn’t your average consumer router. With OpenVPN, WireGuard support, and the ability to switch between multiple WANs, it’s built for security and flexibility. The MU-MIMO tech also helped maintain strong connections across several devices simultaneously.🔹 What Could Be Better:It would be great if the power lead were a bit longer — we had to use an extension to position it centrally in the venue. Also, if you’re completely new to networking, the wealth of features could be a bit overwhelming — but it’s worth learning.Verdict:If you run events, travel with mission-critical internet needs, or just want a seriously reliable and flexible cellular router, the Spitz AX is worth every penny. It was the invisible hero of our event — keeping the tech running, scores updating, and stress levels low.

Best router with 5g SIM card built in. great Gui too
I had sold the Huawei CPE Pro 2 to someone as it was locked. Despite this being pricey I knew it was going to be a quality product as it's GL.inet product. Some of the reviews make me laugh as they call them an unknown brand. They're a very well known brand in the networking world, especially in the OpenWRT world. The firmware used is a fork of OpenWRT with their own gui on top. The gui is very simple. I used the app for setup but could have used a laptop. Just as easy. It's a WiFi 6 AX device so speeds are solid for internal networking wirelessly. The Puli version has a battery backup, not this version. I didn't need it.I have used this in 3 different locations for my main internet with a Smarty SIM. 1 location, I was getting 300/80, another I was getting 700/100.And now I've moved I get 30/20.This uses a Quectel RM520N for it's 5g chip! Firmware can be upgraded.People have complained about ad guard not working, I'm afraid they don't understand how a DNS sinkhole works. It blocks most ads not all like a local browser add-on will block much more. GL.inet's implementation has allowed the plugin to work as it should. They have a list of VPN users built in if that's your thing or you can manually add your own one.The device is portable.I will only say that the power lead is too short and it should come with a 12v car charger too but didn't.I've given 5 stars as it truly is a premium and capable product.Has external antennas meaning I can connect them up to other antennas like Omni directional ones or replace them.Awaiting the Flint3 now

Superb performance
Superb performance. I was getting 9 or 10 Mbps with copper nonsense and sadly there's no fibre available in my street. I just now ran the Ookla Speedtest and got 334MBps down/91mbps up with wireless and 473Mbps down/89up ethernet. I signed up for Vodafone SIM only unlimited data for £25 per month and now the whole house is sorted. Such a shame I didn't know about this tech before. It's not cheap, but worth every penny in terms of performance.
