The board is of wooden and the pieces is made up of plastic, but the quality of the board & the pieces is excellent.2. The box of the chess is also good.The things which I don't like -1. The board is little small (according to me) it could be more big. But it is playable, it is not that small that you can't even play.2. The blocks of the board could be more bright. The blocks are little dull.Final Conclusion- It is good and you must buy if your price range is under ₹300. It is good for children aswell as for teengers.Go for it!😁

Kids is very happy playing well nice item

For the price range it is good. Can be used to introduce chess for kids. Bought for 4yr old he likes it. Not a professional type. Pieces are also flimsy. Of course what you get is appropriate for the price

I received this product about a week ago. I received it after a reasonable time after the day of order. The packaging was very good. Very much excited at first sight. The product was exactly in the same box like I saw in the picture. The quality of the product is very good. The quality of the plastic coins is also good, but the finishing a bit not satisfied. The quality of the board is very good. It seems to be it is made out of cardboard, but the quality and finishing is good. I am happy to see the funskool logo printed on the board. Overall, it is best value for money product.

Not just for kids but adults who are interested in learning or not wanting to spend too much money on a chess board can straight go for thid product as its no nonsense product and does let you play a game of chess whenever you want plus the it is so light and can be carried anywhere with ease

Horrible. The board is warped and does not lie flat rendering pawns instable on the board. The pawns are very light weight and inform.Very poor quality. Never expected from Funskool.
