Perfect package for on the go
My staple snack. I’m allergic to other nut butters, so this is perfect. They last forever and are perfect for on the go. I recommend kneading the pack before opening and squeezing, especially when brand new. Some of the oil gets trapped on top and will ooze onto your shirt, desk, etc.

Great for school settings
You can't beat Skippy peanut butter. I love the individual serving sizes.

Perfect backpacker energy source
This has been a great addition to my backpacking food for multi day trips. I primarily have it for lunch on a tortilla. Also wonderful in oatmeal for breakfast.

Expiration dates too soon
The taste and convivence are good. These are great to bring on road trips or hiking. My issue with these is the expiration dates. I know that's more of a seller issue, but they are coming from Hormel Foods to Amazon (per shipping label left on them). So it's either Hormel sending them out late or Amazon not rotating them correctly. I bought a box in August of 2023, then June of 2024, 10 months apart but both had 11/24 as expiration dates. I'm sure they produce/package a lot more often than 1x every 10 months. In between those two I bought some in Sep of 23 and again in Dec of 23, and both of those had 8/24 expiration dates. The ones I bought in 8/23 should not have had more shelf life left than ones I bought in 12/23. The indicates poor rotation. In my opinion things that you buy in quantity like this should have at least a year left of shelf life. The most recent ones that arrived (the June 24) have less than 5 months left. I believe the company puts the date out 2 years, (can't tell for sure because I can't find a made or packed by date) - if so that means they've been sitting around somewhere for over a year before they were shipped out to me. I don't know that Amazon warehouses are climate controlled, so that's an issue.

Great backpacking snack
Calorie to weight ratio is a prime concern for lightweight long distance hiking. At 190 kcal/oz and good amount of protein, these packets are perfect. Eat them as is, or stir them into a bowl of drained ramen to make a back-country pad thai, particularly if you have dried scallions to add.

Perfect for snacks on the go
These are perfect for snacks on the go. I like the squeeze pouch a lot better than the little to go tubs because I don't need a knife.
