Expiration date - received shipment today. product has several codes and two dates t2015 or a2005, both of which would imply this is very old product?

Hello, thank you for your question! Our latest batch of sealant was printed with LOT and EXP on the label, but the lot number was the only portion printed. To read the lot number: The first 2 letters stand for "Active Seal", the numbers after "T" correspond to the production year and week for that lot. AS T2015 means Active Seal produced 2020 during the 15th week (April 2020). Active Seal is guaranteed for 6 years from production, so it will have an expiration of APRIL 2026. Additionally, the Active Seal formula will be a milky consistency when "fresh" and the color will begin to yellow over time. What is the maximum storage temperature please - will storing in trunk in a hot climate degrade sealant? I see maximum use temperature is 140F.

I had purchase my AirMan ResQ last year, and I live here in Texas and I have my in the trunk of my car. we had reach temperatures of 105 and still works 100% but I had not used the sealer side and I do not see a change on the material of the sealant can. it may not answer the question but it seems fine.
