Not a bad vac for small areas
For the price point this works pretty well! I use it for my small hot tub so I don’t have to pull out the big pool vac for it. We use a robot in the pool so this keeps my job of pool care even easier. It picks up sand! You have to move slow as with any pool vac, but it does pick it up. Not bad for $60. I do find that I have to charge it before each use, so battery life isn’t great.I would not recommend it for anything larger than a spa or hot tub.

Intex Chargeable Vacuum for above ground pools and spas
I am very happy with this vacuum. It is so satisfying to see the dirt come up after passing the vacuum over it! The suction is great. It has a nice cup to catch the dirt and cleaning is easy, it is amazing. Charging it is very easy. I would recommend this vacuum to everyone. Great value, great machine.

Hope this one lasts longer
I bought this again. The first one lasted 2 years. It worked well to start but started having issues with the power switch. Vacuums fine particles with the mesh filter bag included. I couldn't find replacements for the bag, so I bought the ones in the link below. It catches sand and even pollen. I wish the head opening was wider so it would have a larger footprint. for such a small item the suction is great. It's light weight, easy to use, design is nice, durable for the price and clears your water. I use it without the handle for the hot tub. Perfect. 4 stars is because the first one quit working. Could be my fault. TIPs - always let it dry completely before charging. Don't forget to close the charging port cover. Turn it on under water. Turn it off under water. Make sure you have it close to the surface before you turn it off to avoid debris leaking out. The replacement bags are larger, but they work fine. If I don't have issues with this one, I'll change to 5 stars. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09B9RJY48/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You might get one year out of it
I bought this last summer to use in my above ground pool. I was using a cheap little vacuum that attached to my hose and really wanted something better that could hold more debris because my neighbors have Maples and the little helicopters that fall early in the season were the bane of my existence. I had a friend order this one and said she liked it, so about a week after she tried hers, I decided to get the same one. Before the summer was over my friend had to get hers replaced because it stopped working, but mine lasted all summer last year (2021). I was not super impressed with it but it did work. It got the helicopters and the leaves out but even with the microfiber bag, it was missing a lot of the finer particles which is fine, I needed to get a better filter anyway. This vacuum clogged really easily and I had to empty it several times before I could finish my whole pool. (18X48 Intex) I would do two or three swipes then have to check it and shove the leaves down in there to clear it out so it would regain suction. The battery power lasted long enough to do the pool, but just barely. There were one or two times the pool was really dirty and I had to charge it again before finishing. After the season was over, I winterized my pool and kept this in dry storage. This summer (2022) I got everything set up and ready to go and when I went to plug this in to charge it, it would not light up or charge at all. I borrowed a power cord that I knew worked from my friend, and it would charge hers but not mine. So I went through Amazon to inquire about the warranty and was directed to Intex. I emailed them only to be told my situation required a phone call. I called Intex and was told they were very busy and I could be put on a call back list and my place in line would be held and I would be called back when it was my turn. I got a call back about 3 hours later. It ended up that this product only has a one year warranty and I was about 2 weeks past my warranty date when I called. She suggested I could get online and order a new vacuum body for $80. I paid $129 for the whole thing last year and a new one looks like it is $80 on here now so that didn't help me at all. I am just using my old hose-powered vacuum now and my pool looks great. It was $15 bucks at Big Lots and I swapped the little debris bag that came with it for a tube sock and it works great! Save your money on this one. It wont' last.

It works
This little pool vac is legit! Purchased for full sized pool to spot clean after the Dolphin, (Which we love! Ours is 13 years old!) You can see where I could reach on the seams with the included pole. ( Maybe not so much in the photos. ) our regular pole is compatible to reach across.
