After researching many brands of toasters at wildly varying price points, I purchased this model a few months ago. It seemed silly to spend $100 or more on an appliance that got reviews no better than cheaper models. This toaster works very well for us. All our bread is made from freshly milled whole wheat flour. After my baked breads cool, I slice, double bag, and freeze. This toaster does a great job of perfectly toasting frozen homemade whole grain bread, bagels, or English muffins that tend to be a LOT heartier than typical store bought white bread. I highly recommend this appliance. It’s fairly priced, attractive, easy to clean and use, and most importantly, it does a great job toasting the kind of bread we eat.

Just purchased this a couple of weeks ago and we were shocked by the performance: It actually makes good toast! This is our third toaster in the last two months (bought a KitchenAid and a Cuisinart locally) and both had problems. One would burn the bread no matter how low you put the dial and the other only seemed to really toast good on one side of the bread. I quickly got tired of toasting the bread, taking it out, turning the bread around and toasting the other side. This one costs a bit more ($40) than some other 2-slice toasters but it actually works! Imagine, something that appears to work as good as an old one that we have had for 20 years! Now let's just see how long it lasts.

Super simple toaster that fits nicely on my counter, without taking up too much space! Sleek design and simple operation without digital options; exactly what I was looking for. My only negative is that even at a 6, my toast has to be put down twice to get the proper toasty-ness for my liking. Overall, a fantastic product.

Our old Sunbeam toaster started to decline so we bought a pretty red KitchenAide toaster. It toasted so poorly that we returned it. We picked up a Cuisinart toaster. It didn't pass the toast evenly test either. Then we decided to do research. Ugh! Almost every review for nearly every toaster complained about toast being uneven. Our son found a YouTube video of a guy testing toasters. The GE toaster stood out as the best reasonably priced toaster. We highly recommend that you turn it on and let the nasty smell burn off. After that the toast has been perfect *chef's kiss*

Every few years I seem to need a new toaster. I what one that toasts bread. I’m not a bagel fan and most toasters do bagels and the heat seems to only toast bagel shapes. I have high hopes on this one.

Have not used it so far. I learned from the news that toasters are made in China, so purchased this one to get ahead of the tariffs, which will in all likely hood make toasters not only very expensive but maybe non existent!However, I have a GE Toaster that I’m using now and find it works well as advertised!

This thing toasts bread just fine, but the bagel button doesn't do anything. Might seem petty, but we eat a lot of bagels and English muffins and the bagel button is usually a really nice feature. Only 3 stars since it's not working as advertised.

This toaster has a "bagel" setting, so that when you place the two halves of the bagel (cut sides facing each other) the inside elements heat more than the outside elements, giving a toasty interior to the bagel halves. Also, it has a "cancel" button that gently pops up the trays in case you want to cancel a preset setting. Nice stainless steel exterior.
