Very good toaster! Looks great on our counter and after a few tries we settled on the #6 setting for the best toast. We usually eat wheat bread but also works well on thick slices of French bread. Does collect fingerprints but cleans up nicely with a little stainless steel cleaner. Crumb tray works well but I recommend emptying frequently as its slightly shallow.

FINALLY, a toaster that actually evenly toasts BOTH sides of the bread!! Read reviews on many toasters before deciding on this one, and so glad I did. Sturdy, doesn't move when you push down the toaster lever, evenly toasts even very thick homemade bread without drying it out, pops it up where you can easily remove it from toaster. And it looks nice too!

Super simple toaster that fits nicely on my counter, without taking up too much space! Sleek design and simple operation without digital options; exactly what I was looking for. My only negative is that even at a 6, my toast has to be put down twice to get the proper toasty-ness for my liking. Overall, a fantastic product.

Love this toaster. Toasts evenly and the appliance doesn't overheat. Easy to use ... no fancy electronics. Just simple knobs and push buttons. No a high tech lover and this fills the bill. Worth every penny.

The biggest differentiator is the sturdiness of the toaster. It does not tip over when pushing down the lever like other mid-range toasters do. The buttons and heat-level-knob make it easy to really know what is going on. Quality clicking with the buttons and knob, and a light up “cancel” button! Toasts bread evenly and makes the perfect soft, yet crunchy toast; even with frozen toast. I can’t believe it was only about $40. Its the perfect size slots as well, not too big/ not too small.

It is as slow as the one I threw away. I miss the old days.If you want to replace your toaster because it toasts too slowly, don't. This works as bad as the one I threw out. I think the government probably set amperage limits on toasters so they are more "green" and that is now our new reality.

After researching many brands of toasters at wildly varying price points, I purchased this model a few months ago. It seemed silly to spend $100 or more on an appliance that got reviews no better than cheaper models. This toaster works very well for us. All our bread is made from freshly milled whole wheat flour. After my baked breads cool, I slice, double bag, and freeze. This toaster does a great job of perfectly toasting frozen homemade whole grain bread, bagels, or English muffins that tend to be a LOT heartier than typical store bought white bread. I highly recommend this appliance. It’s fairly priced, attractive, easy to clean and use, and most importantly, it does a great job toasting the kind of bread we eat.
