If you are like me and go from zero to baking obsessed, these storage jars are for you. They are huge, but so easy to clean. I joined the sourdough life. It sucked me in. My sourdough starter, Agatha appreciates that these glass storage jars hold 5 bags of flour. They are BEASTS! She will be fed well for a long time. The design is perfect. The lid is airtight, making it safe to house flour, rice, beans, and more. Clear glass that is thick enough to keep in tact if, like me, you tend to me a bit clumsy. No, I did not "drop" the jar, per say. It "thunked" pretty good. I may have gasped. But the sturdy glass prevailed. We live to bake another loaf of sourdough! Five stars all the way. Love it so much, I bought a second jar.

Very nice jar. Optically clear with only a slight suggestion of seam when manufactured. Seems thick and sturdy. Nice silicone gasket. Well packaged. Only distraction is the lid is pressed aluminum where stainless steel would have been ideal.

Buy these for your dogs food, don't let it sit in any of the old plastic containers. Have 4 of these now for various other uses as well and have held up great. Easy to clean once food runs out and keep the container clean as possible.

I visually inspected the jar when it arrived and noted a few imperfections including a bubble captured in the wall but no cracks or pits. I decided to use it as a terrarium this week (May 15, 2025) and put 2” of water in the bottom. The next morning there was a puddle around it and it leaks at the rate of one drop per second through an imperceptible flaw in the bottom. Can this problem be corrected?

I bought two of them and love how sturdy and spacious they are! They’re exactly what I needed in terms of size and build. However, the smell when I opened the package was overwhelming—I thought it was just from the packaging, but even after washing them and letting them air dry for two days, the odor lingered. I tried baking soda and vinegar, and I’m hoping that helps.If you’re sensitive to smells, just be aware that it may take some effort to get rid of it. Otherwise, the quality is great!
