Great buy for those on a budget!
For reference, I own the 20-60x60 Gosky scope from several years ago that is going for about $100 now. I used the old scope to compare against this new and improved scope. I think Gosky is a great optics company for someone on a budget like myself. I actually own a pair of the binoculars for my wife that exceeded my expectations for the money. I compared them to my Bushnell’s, and they kept up in every category.Pros:More clarity from close and long range. The new scope was much clearer from the 400-yard test I did. The image was also a little brighter as well. The focus dial has been improved which is actually really nice. If you look at the photos Gosky posted there are 2 sections on the focus wheel. One for getting close to focused and one for getting what I call detail focused. It’s actually a really cool feature. You can use one dial for dramatic focus assuming you are way out of focus then use the detail focus wheel to get a really clear view without shaking the scope because the wheel spins so smoothly. The eyepiece has been enlarged. At first, I was unsure that I like this but during testing it turned out to be one of the key advantages over the older scope. I use mine for hunting and shooting at the range, the wider eyepiece allows for less strain on the eye assuming you will be glassing for long periods at a time. It was also easier to look through, you did not have to take a lot of time to align your eye with the object being scoped. This was a huge improvement. The eye piece twists out to extend like the old one which is a great feature. The zoom knob works smoothly as it should. The lateral side to side scope adjustment also works well and rotates very smoothly. The new smartphone attachment is really nice and a huge upgrade from their last version.I don’t use the retractable sunshade/rain guard all that much, but it is a nice feature to have just in case. The carrying case was beefed up and you can actually leave it on while glassing as there is a zipper on the bottom that would open up to allow attachment to a tripod mount. The new scope outperformed the older one in every way other than a couple of key cons.Cons:The weight: this new scope was a lot heavier than the older one. I weighed the old one at 2 pounds 8 ounces. The new scope is 3 pounds 13 ounces. For someone that backpack with their scope this is a big difference. The lens cover: The new lens cover seems nice at first, but this needs to be improved. It stays on the scope great, the hard part is getting it off the scope. It is almost suctioned to the scope. I actually tied a little paracord loop on the lens cover where they left a hole on the lens cover and it pulls off a little easier now. They also did not include a leash like they do with the older ones.Overall the new scope is a huge improvement and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for something tough and reliable at this price point.

Amazing Value for the Price!
This spotting scope totally exceeded my expectations. The image clarity is fantastic even at high magnification, and the build quality feels solid. I love that it comes with a sturdy tripod, phone adapter, and a full cleaning kit — basically everything I needed in one package. Setup was super easy, and it’s perfect for birdwatching and nature viewing. The carrying bag makes it really convenient to take outdoors. Definitely a great buy for the price — highly recommended!

Good scope - tripod doesn't quite measure up to the quality of the scope
For the price, this is a darned good scope. I'm new to birding, so this has been a considerable step up in my ability to watch far-off subjects. It also takes good pictures through my iPhone. The only problem is that the tripod is too light to hold the scope steady. The original tripod works, but it's very touchy. I replaced the tripod with a sturdier one three days after my purchase. Now it is much more useful. I took this picture today with the scope and replacement tripod.

Powerful, sturdy scope, with great accessories!
The media could not be loaded. This is a great scope, and quite sturdy, with lots of excellent features and accessories.WHAT YOU GET: in addition to the scope itself, you get a tripod which extends over 6 feet off the ground at maximum extension, a carrying case, a cleaning brush and air-puffer, plus a phone mount for the eyepiece.WHAT I LIKED: The optics on this scope are excellent. Very clear picture, and minimal distortion, and easy-to-use 20-60x Optical zoom right on the eyepiece. It is sturdy and durable, and features a sun shade that extends over the forward lens. It also has ease to remove covers for both lenses. The coarse and fine adjustment knobs are easy to use and reach while viewing through the eyepiece. The carrying case is super convenient, as the scope is heavier than your smaller type spotting scopes. And the tripod is a great size. The phone mount is also really well designed, works with just about any sized phone, and is easy to connect to the scope without messing up your setting too much.ANY ISSUES? The only concerns I had were really with the accessories and not the scope. The tripod is mostly plastic, so it is prone to wobble a little under the weight of the scope, but not enough that I ever worried about it falling. Just that it's tough to make fine adjustments to your viewing angle while attached. It would work fine on another tripod if you have one though. Also, be careful not to tighten the eyepiece dust cover too much. One time I went to remove it and it pulled off the whole lens! Nothing was damaged, I just had to reattach it, which was quite easy, but could prove frustrating if you're not expecting it.OVERALL: This is a great buy! Quality for the price and a very easy to use. I was able to count the shingles on a house in the next neighborhood over, so it'll do great for wildlife viewing, bird watching, or targeting out to a kilometer or more. I haven't tried stargazing with it due to the weather, but I'm hoping I can get the moons of Jupiter!

Tripod.
I really haven’t had a chance to use it yet,I went out to the range with it and found the tripod that it comes with was inadequate. The weight of the scope was too heavy for the tripod. So you had to keep on getting it back onto target. The scope itself for the price is fine. You’ll want to upgrade your tripod.
