Metalwork 304 Stainless Steel Pipe Fitting，Converter Adapter, G 1/2" Male Thread x 1/2" NPT Female, 1 Pcs

Good stainless steel pipe fitting. Used to extend the threaded hole in my pressure canner so I could install a jiggler without it bumping against the domed top. Having a male-female end really simplified what I expected to have to do with multiple fittings--looks great. Canning season coming soon--won't have to be sitting on a stool in front of the stove watching the gauge and adjusting the electric burner all the time--good thing because its getting too easy to get distracted. Would never have found this locally.

Nothing to write home about, good fit, good finish, so far holding up just fine.

Quality made! But doesn't work with the Iwata-Medea Air Hose. There is a discussion on there about if the thread is BSP or NPT and BSP seems to be winning out (and the manufacture isn't saying). Couldn't seem to find what needed any where on Amazon except for this. So imagine my disappointment when it wouldn't fit. It isn't the quality or is wrong thread, but the hole on male end is 1/4" and the air hose center piece is 19/64. So it doesn't contact the o-ring. Can use it in the future for an extension I guess, but not for what bought it for.So not rating it for my purpose, but am knocking off one start cause didn't see it mentioned that size of the male end hole. Which is important in some cases like mine.

that this an adaptor for 1/8" IPS to 1/8" machine thread, do not lose the washer seal.

It's not a G thread. The image shows a tapered thread; but the part has a straight thread at a different pitch.

Initially I thought these were not G 1/4" threads however they’re correct, I had inadvertently switched this part with another. The fitting is nicely machined

Need to request compression washer to seal.
