It is, not quite as 'potent" as a regular mousse.

On wet hair you apply the mousse and blow dry it. It gives volume to your hair.

I use a separate root lifter with this mousse

What volume of foam should a man with a moderate amount of hair use?

If you have thick hair I would say 1/2 palm size, start there then add more if needed. You don’t need a lot but it’s easier to add then take away.
