No I wouldn’t suggest it. There are recessed holes in the back to hang flush to the wall with nails or screws and command hooks wouldn’t fit well. It’s also heavy and the command strips wouldn’t hold up well to the weight of both this wooden piece and the items you hang on it. Command sells hooks designed for command strips—just get one of those if you’re not willing to patch dorm walls
