Happy with purchase
I used this to fill a classroom of beanbags seats and it was perfect. There was no odor, and it made the beanbags firm, but comfortable. the only downside is it was a little messy to fill the chairs.

Perfect
This product worked 100 times better than I expected. I love how the foam does not stick to everything in sight. Perfect filling for the beanbag chairs. Soft and comfortable.smile

Odd packaging
The packaging got some good reviews on here but cutting this "bomb" apart and shaking all the pieces out was annoying. The foam itself is very compressible and cooling. I was testing this out in some throw pillows and it does work but takes what feels like a lot to give any support. Should work well in a bean bag. What I bought half filled two 26x26 pillow inserts, so the quantity was a little less than I was expecting. Between that and packaging I would probably lean towards trying something else first when I build some bean bags for the library.

There’s a better way. The Chunk Plan.
With four young sons and a puppy, I have way too much experience with bean bags and so I shall teach you my ways. Bean bags stuffed with foam look nicer than those stuffed with beans b/c the bean-filled ones always look a bit deflated. Regular foam is not comfortable, so memory foam is the best for comfort and aesthetics. Memory foam is, however, much more expensive. You’ll need probably 30-35 lbs to fill a medium sized bean bag (eg 36-41” standard size). So that’s at least $120 if you buy shredded fillers. Also, the shreds are shockingly messy. They’re hard to transfer; they stick to everything, and they’re too small to effectively gather with one’s hands. This product allows shred insertion without too much trouble but if you ever need to switch liners, you’re going to hate your life and probably just wind up trashing the $120 that you spent on memory foam shreds.I think the better way is to just buy cheap memory foam toppers and then cut them into 2” inch chunks. It’s a little more work in the beginning but *definitely* worth the extra trouble b/c the chunks are *much* easier to manage in the event of a liner change. Another advantage to the Chunk Plan is the cost. I can get two 1.5 king size toppers from Shmall Shmart for $90, saving about $30 per bag (and again, I am the owner of many bags.I’ve put so much time and money into trying to save time and money. IMO, the Chunk Plan is the easiest and most cost effective.

Overpriced for what you get
This fell way way way short of the amount I needed for my bean bag chair there are Zero guide lines for how much filler you will need for the Chairs you get the covers at a decent price but the filler will cost you an arm and a leg I thought the rolls were 10 pounds each. I'm not buying 500 dollars on filler for a 40 dollar bean bag chair I'm not real thrilled with this purchase

I wish I would have only purchased this foam
I bought two orders of this foam and it only filled my bean bag about 1/4 full. It was getting expensive along with the 200L of regular foam beads so I opted for a cheaper version of shredded “memory foam” to finish the chair. Do not do what I did. I’m regretting not purchasing another couple of orders of this foam as it is so much higher quality than the other stuff I bought. There’s more insulating foam in the other foam than there is memory foam. Whereas if you purchase this shredded memory foam it is 100% memory foam and it is good quality. You won’t regret buying it.

Brilliant and affordable: The uneducated world of beanbag stuffing
Has anyone else out there tried to do a web search for how much stuffing it takes to fill a 4ft beanbag? My search for this very data about drove me to drink. Just so y'all know... its two of these bad boys. Yes... beanbags are a steal of a deal folks... til you realize it costs five times the price of the beanbag to fill it.This is a smokin deal. It comes severely compact. You just drop the whole bundle inside the beanbag and cut it open inside, then pull out the plastic wrap. Easy, peasy folks.
