Someone recommended this to me for use in my office chair? What is your thought?

I have used this on a chair and I thought it worked fine.

Does this product come with exercise recommendations?

I am not sure if there were instructions for exercises or not. I bought this product because my physical therapist used it with me because I was having a problem with balance. What I do with it is stand with both my feet next to each other and turn my head to the right and then turn my head to the left. I then close my eyes and do the same thing. At first I put this almost against the wall so if I lost my balance I could use the wall for support. It taught me how to use my ankles to help me balance as well as strengthening my lower legs.

What is the difference with the 3 different colors? Which one is least firm (most squishy?)

1. The color should have limited impact on the foam structure (Chemistry). 2. Based on buying 3 different ones, we can say they we have not "felt" any difference. (Not a measured parameter to be clear.) 3. So far, our uses have been to make a hard seat better, workout aid for knee contact with a floor, and skiing injury recover/physical therapy at home.

I was planning to use this to stand on for a standing work station. Do you think it would work for strengthening while working or is it too firm?

I am using it for my stand-up work station. It does a good job of relieving ankle strain by letting me change how I position my feet and ankles. It's light and easy to kick out of the way even on the carpet in my office. It's not "too soft for all day" as one reviewer suggested, though I don't stand there all day.
