Q: Anyone else think this is a poorly made kit? the reviews seem disingenuous and mine was near useless. not professional grade by far.

Yes, I agree. This was a waste of money, could not get it to work correctly and wound up taking my watch to the Jeweler to have links removed.

Q: Does the tool work on timex expandable bands?

I do not believe it will... It seems to have everything I have needed for different type link bracelets, but the Timex flex bands are very different... Does the MFR have any idea?
