I looked at a lot of walking/hiking sticks before settling on this one. I recently had a hip replacement and am getting ready for a knee replacement. After walking with a rollator walker for the past 3 1/2 years, I wanted something that would help support my balance but allow me to be totally upright and not hunched over. I wanted something strong and sturdy and this stick is all that. Some sticks looked really thin at the bottom. I was worried that they might snap with too much pressure. This one is not. It is also not heavy. It’s very attractive, nicely crafted and straight. It was delivered in 2 days without Prime. The price was very reasonable, I think, for a very good quality item. Kudos to the seller and manufacturer! If my opinion changes as I use it more, I’ll adjust my review.

Nice stick, especially for walking on camping trips.

Thick and sturdy

My husband needed a little help, and we ordered this cane. First of all, it's very sturdy and amazingly light weight. It does the job. He was getting to where he needed some help to get up out of the recliner. This works. It has a beautiful color and has helped him tremendously by stabilizing him prior to standing up. It has a rubber tip that will keep it from slipping. It also has a leather strap at the top for holding on to while standing if one wants to. My husband really likes it, and it does the job perfectly.

I really like this walking stick. I’ve owned a few over the years and by far this is the best. If it was about six inches longer it would be perfect for keeping animals (dogs) at a really safe distance.
