Animals and children under 70 pounds would need to be given anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 of the recommended dosage , depending on their weight. For example, if your child was under 30 pounds, 1/4 of the recommended dosage would be most ideal. For children over 35 pounds, it should be safe to give them a 1/2 of the recommended dosage.
