With this type of mold, you must pour the mix into the entire mold, place the lid on and insert all the sticks in the lid before placing in the freezer. After freezing you remove the lid and then remove all popsicles. This gives you 9 unwrapped frozen popsicles. The bags are what you wrap the individual popsicles in before placing in the freezer. There are other kinds of molds which have individual molds for single popsicles. I.e. You can remove one at a time.
