Osprey Fairview 40L Women's Travel Backpack

Great Product! great design features; and robust materials.I bought this to use as my art/pastel go bag on a trip to france. I made a board that fit the size of the bag. plus put all my supplies in the bag. Plus I was easily able to attach my traveling camp stool and easel to the outside of the bag.As the various group art events that I've brought it, many people commented on it. what most comment is that it is great that the top of the bag is square so a larger board will fit inside the pack.

We went on a two week trip to Europe and this bag was PERFECT! We did a lot of research on these type of bags before we purchased and we made a great decision. This bag has so much storage and many zippers and extra pouches to keep items organized and accessible. We loved using this bag as a backpack when traveling down some cobblestone streets. it is comfortable on your back with padded straps and a chest strap to keep it stable. We used the wheels and handle throughout the airports and train stations. The wheels are such a great quality and the handle is very comfortable to hold and it is easy to maneuver. Would buy these bags over and over again!

I will be using this for a 2 week trip to Italy ( think cobblestone , stairs , trains and boats ). I packed and was surprised how much I could fit. The backpack part ( shoulder and waist straps ) look really sturdy. The quality of the zippers and stitching is evident. It is lightweight and looks great. The wheels roll easily and seem super sturdy. The only thing I don’t like is that to transition from rolling to pack you have to zip the straps back in otherwise when you roll it the straps are hanging downward and will drag or get caught in the wheels. I have not travelled yet but I think this will be an issue when traveling between places ( impractical). I wish it was cheaper since at over $300 it seems pretty steep but you get what you pay for.

I’ve never been more satisfied with a travel backpack than with the Osprey Fairview 36L. And in crowded spaces, I appreciate the ability to carry it sideways, making navigation smoother without inconveniencing anyone around me.One of my favorite features is the ergonomic design of the back panel, which is shaped specifically for a female body. It provides a more tailored fit, enhancing comfort for long hours of carrying.Osprey Fairview 36L is a game-changer for those who need versatility in a backpack. I really wanted a combination backpack/roller. This one seems to be well made and durable, and rolls well. It’s a bit heavier than I’d like for a backpack, but typical for a roller. I like that I can attach/detach a day pack to have under the seat in front of me when flying and to use as a daypack when traveling. For me what I disliked the most was the space lost due to the arched handle going through the middle of the bag.

small but mightly , 12 days in spain lots of trains and a easy breezy rolling bag . good quality , checked bag on air france ( why not it was free) no rips or zipper glitches

I bought this item for my wife after 6 other Osprey backpacks, but this one is a poor quality designed and built. All materials are cheaply made, from the thin outer shell to the skinny straps. We spent one month trip in Europe and was concerned that this backpack will failed. I will stay with the Sojourn models from now on.

Extremely good quality, as one would expect from this brand. I bought this to use as a carry-on piece of luggage. It holds a substantial amount and I love that you can either wear it as backpack, or use the telescopic handle to roll on its wheels. Very nice!
