I'm looking for something to repair a ceramic Jesus. I don't know what to use?

I am a studio potter. I'd recommend using Apoxy Sculpt but it's expensive. It's a two part putty that you mix together and it can be painted, washed, I've even put it in the dishwasher with no problems. I see Amazon has a product called Culture Sculpt that seems to have the same description and is quite a bit cheaper but I haven't used it. That said, there are several putty epoxy products on the market that would work. Just look for something that dries to a hard finish that's waterproof and paintable.

plaster of paris, quick-setting gypsum plaster consisting of a fine white powder (calcium sulfate hemihydrate), which hardens when moistened and allowed to dry.
