The Costa Farms Fiddle Leaf Fig is a live indoor plant that stands 1-2 feet tall, potted in a black grower pot with potting soil. Known for its lush foliage and air-purifying qualities, this tropical houseplant is perfect for enhancing room decor, making it an ideal gift for various occasions. With minimal care requirements, it thrives in bright, indirect light and adds a refreshing touch to any indoor space.
Product Care Instructions | The Ficus Lyrata, Fiddle-leaf Fig will need bright light year-round, but not direct sunlight. Move it a quarter turn every week or so to expose all sides to light for a natural upright growth. Water during the active growth period, allowing the soil to dry out slightly in between waterings. Water sparingly during the resting period. Drooping yellow leaves are a sign of overwatering. Use water soluble fertilizer; feed 3 times a year during growing season (spring-summer-fall). |

Bought multiple items. They always come in good shape.
Exactly as advertised. This is my fourth purchase from Costa Farms. They do a really good job with the packaging most of the time it’s 99.99% intact if not 100% intact. Delivery is quick because we live in the same state. And have nothing negative to say. The plant came healthy. Looks great and exactly like the picture size. All the purchases come exactly as advertisement and described. The packaging is very simple, open at the top, rip on the side take your plant out and you’re done.Update:I uploaded images of 5 feet fiddle leaf versions. I was going to do a separate review but it doesn’t allow me because it’s the same product different size. Both of them came in healthy. I was a little worried at the beginning because I missed a delivery by mistake. So they were held two days extra instead of two days delivery so that was a total four days they were packaged perfectly. Luckily, they had no damage on them. Letting them soak outside in the water/sun for a bit before repotting and bringing them and door.UPDATE: 2/5/2024Everything in the review still holds true the only thing I would be a little bit careful for that one of the trees that are 5 feet came in more leaning on the right side, than directly growing in the center so what happened is that the roots and everything was very well established, except the was only one branch growing directly in the center, while the other five were going directly on the right side, making a tilt over. This is not the fault of the grower. It was just grown that way and probably nobody noticed it.It wasn't noticeable inside the box, but once taken out and watered and let it spread out a little bit. I would not be able to be put inside of a vase for indoors, (I tried) since it would lean on the 4 o'clock angle versus straight. I could have straighten it by force by tying it down/stake but the tree is very well developed with a lot of leaves it's pretty much already set in stone. I didn't want to return it because it would be too clumsy and I had no room for it outdoors. Luckily, Amazon customer support was helpful and they gave me a refund. Totally unexpected.Like I said, this is probably a fluke every other item bought by coastal Farm came in perfectly. I would be a little bit more careful for the larger trees like these you would probably want to contact them and ask them to specifically look from one that's more straight in the center.

My Fiddle is beautiful and I named her Fia
My plant arrived in a box perfect for the size of the plant. The poor was wrapped in plastic and dirt was very moist but not too wet. The price was great for the size of it too! I'm very happy with it so far.

Not a weeping willow tree, but I am weeping.- UPDATED DISAPPOINTMENT 9/29/20
On a fixed income, I saved up a dollar at a time to buy this plant. I was so happy when it arrived a few days ago. Then I noticed some odd things going on. There were "lumps" under the soil top that crunched when I tried to level it. To my surprise there were leaves tucked into the soil from above and below the soil line from the stem, that obviously had been planted that way. The leaves had red rusty spots on all but the partly decomposing tiny one. It was so far gone I couldn't tell. All these leaves, except the largest( which literally had half of it tucked into the soil below)just fell off the stem as they were discovered. The large deformed one I removed with misty eyes from what I thought needed doing per its state of disrepair. I wanted a fiddle leaf so much, what I have is half of one, nearly one-sided, with a dicey prognoses. In truth, I had to prop it up more to take pictures as it flopped over as if top heavy. I'm sad.Update 9/29/20- replacement offer was honored with a fiddle leaf I won't dare take inside to my other plants company. While the first 4 pics are of the first plant, the last 3 are of its replacement's leaves, and its smashed in box brought by fedex after 8+days in transit, even the base and planter were misshapen. If you look at the end edges of the leaves, you will see what was intended to be a HEALTY replacement for a sick first try, is further gone than the first fiddle. The whole plant was supposed to be inspected before shipping. Clearly something has been dining in gluttonous style on its leaves. Its in the trash with the first plant, I'm so over this. This isn't good business. I'm deeply disappointed and will not be doing business with Costa again.I want a refund. Full stop.

Excellent customer service from, Costa Farms
The first one I ordered must have sat in the freezing air over a weekend as the top leaves arrived totally limp and dead and the other leaves soon followed. This 2nd one arrived in much better shape, albeit with dirty leaves-or I hope the white spots are just from the watering. The first one had white spots that were mildew. I've given all the leaves a cleaning and hope this plant will be with me for a number of years - I'm 81 so it might end up at a family member's home if it really thrives. I had a positive experience with Costa Farms. Costa Farms emailed to tell me why there are white spots and they aren't mildew. Excellent customer service and caring from Costa Farms. I would buy from them again.

Fast replacement. Friendly customer service.
When I first recieved the plant, it looked droppy and had many dead leaves. I didn't worry about it and followed directions meticulously to repot, prune, water etc. It kept getting worse and after a week had multiple spots spreading. It died several days later (first photo). I reached out to customer service and they responded same day. Within 2 weeks of receiving my request, I received a new plant (second photo)! The pot has a large crack in it. Not an issue for me. I can use the first plant's pot which is in fine condition. Thank you for the fast response Costa Farms.

Great! Both times I ordered this plant!
This plant looks nicer than what I could find at local nurseries. The first one I received was really large and ai love it! However, it was too large for where I had it. Fortunately, the second one I ordered was smaller (but not small) it has an opportunity to grow into the space. I'm excited to help them and watch them grow.
