Bestway Replacement ceramic disc inserts & gaskets for 3/4" quarter turn cartridge valves (Ceramic Discs x 2)

Great little repair kit

Purchased these ceramic disc inserts and gasket set in order to repair my dripping bath taps. Found they did the job perfectly and at a fraction of the cost of new bath taps.

I had two taps with leaking cartridges, I could not find cartridges of matching dimensions, but came across these internal replacement parts, and the vernier calipers confirmed them as a match, so I ordered them.Received in good time, I stripped the old cartridges, one went together well with the new parts. The second one, one of the replacement ceramic discs did not have the slot in it cut correctly (no corrosion in the cartridge), so rather then go through all the bother of returning and re-ordering while the taps remain out of service, I mixed new and old parts with success.So job done, but down to the parts being right unfortunately.

These inexpensive items have restored my expensive dripping bath taps to their former glory…These ceramic discs and seals are very easy to fit…just require a little bit of silicone grease.

Wrong type of disc had to return them

Even though the sizes matched the taps still leaked,I swapped the internal parts with my old units and it did the trick.Job in the town

Have a Bristan tap dripping and went to several pluming wholesale merchants to get these ceramic disc inserts but found them unavailable. . We did through lack of knowledge buy the wrong size ,with my feller just going on 3/4" as being like an ordinary washer in an old type tap. We realised that it was all about the turn that the tap actually turns. With that ,we have purchased another one which is a perfect fit. The discs and washers come with clear instructions and easy enough for the any DIY person to understand.

Did not suit my old cartridge.
