Fit perfectly and easy to install. Indmar 325 Assault
Bought it for an Indmar 325 Assault engine in a 2008 Moomba Mobius LSV. Fit perfectly and started the engine with no problem. Changed it out in less than 30 minutes.

Starter fit in Mercruser 4.3L, started right up
Seams well built and fit right in place. It needs a thin wall 14 mm deep socket to get one of the bolts out (right next to flywheel). Initial socket too thick, but found a good laser etched Craftsman socket did the job.Connected wires and engine started right up

Nice looking starter but...
...it doesn't come with new bolts, and the original starter bolts are way too long. Also, the front bracket has a puny # 10 thread (vs. 1/4 inch on the original).Haven't tried it yet--still trying to find the right length bolts--but it 'appears' to be much smaller in the 'motor' area than the original starter. That's fine with me IF it has enough power; it's certainly much easier to install.Update: The front starter brace can NOT be installed--the new starter is so much shorter it's not even close. That said, few auto installations on S B Chevies use a brace....The engine cranks over much faster than the old starter, so I'm happy with it--for now.Jeff
