Coming to this book with no knowledge on the matter has allowed me to see this book with a fresh set of eyes. I am not that into religion or anything, but I would call myself a spiritual person. I can definitely see some aspects of Feng Shui that are similar to christianity such as " treat others how you would like to be treated." Overall I found this to be a helpful and interesting read on a different understanding of the world than my own. I would recommend this ebook to anyone wanting to know more about feng shui or harmonizing the energy fields around you. To sum this book up in one sentence, declutter your stuff, be positive, live a healthy lifestyle. Pretty good stuff.

The book pulled in the history and essentials of feng shui for me, and then wasn't boring when I was reading the details. It was broken down into interesting bits. It did have visuals, many colorful but I guess I'm more of a picture person. I definitely understood the concept and culture of it better after this book though.

This is the third Feng Shui-related book I've read in the past three weeks in addition to combing through tons of different web sites. I did learn something new about "Feng Shui Squares" but learned nothing about how to fortify those squares.I preferred Karen Rauch Carter's "Move Your Stuff, Change Your Life" which this author takes a dig at with a headline in Chapter 9. That was a deal-breaker for me considering how thin this book is. To go beyond 2 or 3 stars I highly recommend more examples of practical-applications of Feng Shui and not dismissing books that are better conceived.Readers--when purchasing Feng Shui books beware of the page count. If the book is under 60 pages it's better to research on the web.

The teaching is well delivered and effective. Information is presented in a simple, direct manner. New concepts/are added gradually as to not overwhelm, yet keeps you moving. The Author outright tells you the important things that need to change. Equal time is given to The myths, and things not to worry about. 😆👩‍🏫

An amazingly well written book. I believe in energy and spiritual powers and trying improve my knowledge in each and every aspect of life. It took almost a year to change my inner soul which was drifting apart, now I am a more spiritually powerful person. Next thing is to learn about how my surroundings affect my life. It needs to start from my home. I am still in the process of learning Feng Shui and this book helped me in taking a good start.

No details just explains the Feng shui elements and calendar. Lacks application to home. No useful advice. I recommend Susan Levins book.

This book is an easy read and one of the better ones I've read on the topic. It includes a few pictures which is helpful.

Best advice that Joline gives through this book is that no amount of Feng Shui techniques can elevate your life until and unless your intentions and Karma are..
