Highly effective and low cost
This light source is a Very affordable option for the novice technician and master technician alike. It's an easy to use tool for determining Single Mode fiber signal loss. As it is an affordable option, it doesnt have all the connectors you may come across as a technician, but you can easily order those adapters as needed. As for the power source, it uses 2 AA batteries. I recommend changing them to AA rechargeables.
