Exactly what GM uses.
These are the oil filters that the dealership uses at 1/4 the price. I do my Impala oil changes with Full synthetic oil at 5000 mile intervals. Cost of oil and filter averages under $30. Great deal!

It’s a filter, it works. Bought it for a 2007 Chev Colorado and it fits.

DIY here. Oil change is easy if you have the proper tools and parts (a bit messy but it is worth it if you think about the engine's longevity). This filter (ACDelco PF61E Professional Engine Oil Filter) costs twice (2x) than the FRAM or PUROLATOR equivalent, but the engine seems to run smoother, so I will continue to get this for my 08 Impala. I use regular oil Castrol 5W30. Cheers.
