Rubies Child's DC Comics Reversible Batman/Superman Cape for Themed Parties and Halloween

My 5 year old son has been wanting a Batman cape and trying to find them around at the local stores has proved to be very difficult. Amazon Prime is here to save the day! The only problem is that there are so many options and manufacturers that picking the one that will be the best can be challenging. I wanted something that would withstand the playful wrath of a 5 year old and look cool too. When looking at the choices here on Amazon, I decided to take a gamble with this one. It cost a little bit more but I liked the fact that you could reverse it and you get a Superman cape on the other side. Children tend to change their minds quite often and while today it might be Batman...tomorrow he might want to be Superman. I was a little nervous when the package arrived because I thought that it might just be a cheap rag with a Batman/Superman sticker attached to it. I was happy to find that it was of pretty decent quality. The Batman/Superman logos are real patches. It's made out of some very shiny polyester and all of the stitching is done nicely. Basically, it is two sheets of polyester fabric (one red and the other black) sewn together. You attach it around your neck through the use of a velcro strap. The care instructions state that this is to be washed in cold water, hand wash cycle, and to let it dry flat. My son is 42 inches tall and I was worried that it would be too long for him. I didn't want it dragging on the ground and him to be tripping all over it. It falls down to about the top of his calves. The real test was to see if he would like it. When you pull it out of the package, it looks like it is just a Batman cape. He was surprised to find out that the reversed side was also Superman. Now, he constantly changes back and forth between the two. I'm glad I went with this one and was satisfied with the quality and fit for my son. He sure is having fun with it as well.

This piece is so worth the price. The quality of the fabric and seams is amazing! Its free size so my 6-year-old would use it for years. Good investment.

Fits my 4 year old just fine! He had worn out his other Batman cape and has Superman capes as well, but won't use that side. I figured this seems better made than his last one and in case he ever wants to switch he has that option. Best price as well if you already have masks etc. We have 2-3 masks and I saw Toys r us having this in a set which was more expensive. I just needed the cape so was happy Amazon had that option for cheaper. Before I had bought those 4 characters in a set package and they're nice, but don't hold up well with a lot of use.

Nicely made cape! Two in one reversible. Can't beat that. Perfect for a 4 year old. My only complaint is that the neck is a bit snug. Doesn't give you much wiggle room. I think my son would wear it longer if the neck wasn't like that. I might fix it to allow more neck room. My son is the size of an average 4 year old.

Good quality, especially for the price. I've had this over 6 months now and my 3.5 and 2yr old boys both play with it non-stop. The velcro is starting to wear a little bit but not enough to concern me anytime soon. And when it does finally wear, I can easily put new velcro on. the material is good quality and is holding up to these two. Love that is reversible too!

I scoured the reviews hoping to get a cape that would hold up to my very energetic little 3 yr old. This cape is great! He's had it for a few months already and still looks like its in good condition. Its been stepped on, played with, thrown on the floor - like most kid things. It has stood up to the toddler test. I have been careful around food with it - so how it does with hand washing is yet to be seen. But overall It is very well made and I am very glad I got it.

This is the best cape ever! Love that it is reversible so my son can be either of the two Superheros. He LOVES it! It fits him perfectly (he is age 3, 38 inches tall). I like that it is a velcro closure so he won't choke with a tie closure if it gets pulled or catches on something; it will just come off. It is a silk material with the Superhero logos in a raised patch that is very nice looking- almost looks like embroidery.

Bought this Cape for my little 4 year old superman! Grew tired of searching for superman shirts with capes and washing the ones he already had so he could wear them again and again. This way he can add the Cape to any outfit. My son is a superman fan so has not used the batman side but I loved the idea of having the option! My 10 year old daughter also loves the Cape and it fits her as well! I have already ordered a second one for my 2 year old nephew and hope it's not too long! Great quality and wonderful find! Would recommend!

Mi hijo mide 112 cm y le quedó Perfecto! Creo que es una talla 5 aprox, pero pueden comprársela a niños más pequeños, solo les quedará casi hasta el piso. La tela es de muy buena calidad, brillante, colores vivos y el bordado súper bien hecho.

Muy buena capa, es muy bonita y de buena calidad. Bien rematada.Yo la tuve que devolver por ser demasiado grande asi que miren bien las medidas porque me dio mucha pena. Está genial

J'en ai deux (une pour chaque enfant) et j'ai déjà du en offrir quatre autres à des enfants entre 3 et 6 ans. C'est vous dire si j'aime ! La cape est belle et de bonne qualité. Elle s'attache simplement par un scratch et elle est réversible ce qui permet à nos mini héros de choisir leur personnage du jour.

Bellissimo, per far volare la fantasia di piccoli supereroi in erba! Forse sarebbe comodo se sul fondo ci fossero degli automatici per permettere di accorciare il mantello quando il bimbo non è ancora altissimo.
