This Anti-rattle device took away the noise of my tow hitch on the trail, and also adds a small degree of Anti-theft because it requires more time to remove the tow hitch.

This has to be one of my best automotive purchases! I bought it to use when I'm running my flag pole behind my car and, for me, it has worked perfectly. While using this and running my flag, I have noticed a significant reduction in vibration noises and side to side sway. With it standing up to the forces of a flag flying behind my car while I'm driving, I would have to say that this is a very sturdy product that will last me years to come! I'll give it an 8.9/10 value for money and overall recommendation score!

The instructions say to use a 3/4” wrench, however this is incorrect. I don’t have a 18mm wrench but I would guess that’s it’s actual diameter, and for something you have to tighten so much I think that’s an important distinction.My hitch receiver is very cheaply made, and is probably closer to 2 1/4” than 2”, so I hade a LOT of slop on the hitch. I tightened this product on as much as the washers would allow, and it only barely makes sound if I jump on it. So for what I needed it for is great, and I suspect if your receiver is closer to 2” like it’s supposed to be this would remove any noise from towing.I will say, the washers that come with this product aren’t great. The slots for the U bolt are very large, and the lock washers can almost fit in them. If you try to tighten it too much, the lock washers will bend the regular washers into the slots. I’d recommend buying a thicker washer so you can tighten the nuts more.This is my first day with the product and I haven’t towed with it installed yet, so take the above with a grain of salt
