It works perfectly and seems to be the actual OEM part. I was concerned about ordering online, because of counterfeits. But this is the real deal and I'm very happy with it. I mean I would have been more happy if I hadn't lost the original, but thank heavens this was an option.

This was a perfect replacement of my old unit.

Genuine product, works great, fraction of the cost from Dell. I use this for plugging in at my home office (so I don't have to pack up a power adapter every day). Would recommend.

Just what my g7 ordered. Seems to be genuine dell, I beleive geek squad ensured I needed a 180w. So this dell works with my warranty that I hope to never use. So the 90w spare I havr wouldent cut it. This is it.

I was worried this charger might be an aftermarket brand, but I'm pleased to say I received a genuine Dell product and it works great! I use it on my Dell G5 5590 for gaming, no issues at all.

This is a solid buy. There are a lot of fakes floating around the internet but I can verify this was 100% authentic. Im using this on a Dell G7. What I like most is the cords are longer then the one that was shipped with my laptop. Longer cord means more flexibility on where you can sit versus where the outlet is. I would definitely recommend it.

I order this as 2nd adapter for my upstairs office. I went to plugged it in and it was dead. After fidgeting with the AC plug that goes to the actual adapter it started it came on but then would power off if I moved it at all. I dont think this is a real dell product. The font on the back also looks different then what dell uses. I have an original dell AC adapter and the "E" in the original Dell adapter does not look like the "E" on the one I just purchased off amazon. See the photos.

The power delivered by this alleged Dell 180w ac adapter is the same or slighty higher than my Dell 130w ac adapter. I don't believe this is a real Dell ac adapter and don't think it delivers anything near 180w of power.Long version:Physical differences:1. This 180w adapter is rectangle with straight ends, the Dell 130w adapter has curved ends.2. This 180w adapter has rubber feet, the Dell 130w adapter doesn't.3. This 180w adaper lacks a rubber strap to wrap the cord up, the Dell 130w has one.4. This 180w adapter has the same dimensions, but is 1/8" thicker than the Dell 130w adapter.5. This 180w adapter has an LED imbedded in the body of the adapter, the Dell 130w LED is imbedded in the cord that attaches to the computer.6. This 180w adapter has a lower quality of fit and finish than on the Dell 130w adapter.Power:I have a Dell G5 5587 gaming laptop with 8750H / 1050ti. The original Dell 130w adapter is underpowered, as I have measured the laptop's energy usage with an inline meter as high as 126w. After gaming for 30 minutes or so, the laptop is designed to draw energy from the battery if the ac adapter isn't providing enough power. Dell has several G5 and G7 laptops that were designed this way.Using the alleged Dell 180w ac adapter, I ran into the same issue of the laptop tapping into battery power because the ac adapter wasn't providing enough power. This alleged Dell 180w ac adapter is equivalent to my original Dell 130w ac adapter in terms of power delivered, possibly a little higher, but no where near 180w.No warranty card or information.
