Affordable but not the most effective. Great if you don't have a persistent problem with fleas
If you live in the US South, I don't believe this will be strong enough. From what I read, enough fleas can become immune to Etofenprox, the active ingredient in this product, whereas a combination of Imidacloprid and Pyriproxyfen are much more effective because they use unique biological attacks on fleas and the growth cycles. Others include Selamectin (Revolution) or Fluralaner (Bravecto).Feature Etofenprox Imidacloprid + Pyriproxyfen Selamectin FluralanerKills Adult Fleas ✅ Yes ✅ Yes ✅ Yes ✅ YesKills Flea Eggs & Larvae ❌ No ✅ Yes ✅ Yes ❌ No (but prevents reinfestation)Tick Protection ❌ No ❌ No ⚠️ Limited ✅ StrongMite Protection ❌ No ❌ No ✅ Yes (ear mites, sarcoptic mange) ❌ NoWorm Protection ❌ No ❌ No ✅ Yes (roundworms, hookworms) ❌ NoHeartworm Protection ❌ No ❌ No ✅ Yes ❌ NoDuration ~1 month ~1 month ~1 month ~12 weeksBest For Basic flea control, but resistance issues Stronger flea control, prevents reinfestation Broad parasite control, including worms & mites Long-lasting flea & tick control

They work & they are cheap. Not as cheap in Walmart anymore, if you can even find them there.
I use this every month on my 6 cats. I buy 2 of them. Normally I would buy them at the local Walmart, but their price went up like $1.50 each one. I found them here on Amazon at the price was the same as it was, when I used to get them there. They work. They keep my cats free of fleas & ticks. If you can’t afford a Vet visit for every single cat every year to get the ones the vet gives you; these work!

LISTEN TO ME AND DO NOTTTT ORDER THIS!!!
If you’re thinking of buying this I URGE YOU NOT TO! PLEASE DON’T BE LIKE ME AND BUY THIS BECAUSE OF THE PRICE! THIS COMPANY HAS LAWSUITS AGAINST THEM AND PEOPLE’S PETS HAVE DIED AFTER USING THEIR PRODUCTS!My cat got fleas for the first time so I ordered this for her before I saw some bad reviews and then decided to go with a better (more expensive) treatment I found on Petco. I ran out of the Petco treatment after 2 months so tonight I decided to use this one since I still had it. I should’ve avoided it the second I realized how strong the scent is. It’s extremely strong and it immediately bothered my cat and after some time it gave me a headache. I put a bit of the treatment on the back of my hand to test it and after 5 minutes it felt fine so I put it on my cat as instructed. She immediately seemed bothered by the smell. After a minute she began sneezing and scratching and trying to shake off the product. After a few more minutes she started running around like crazy, yowling, and was very hard to calm down. I IMMEDIATELY REGRETTED USING IT. After an hour, she has now calmed down and is sleeping. Her eyes seem teary. I contacted Amazon about this twice and apparently they can’t help me because I placed the order so long ago. They also have been unable to get me in contact with the manufacturer. I decided to call the number on the packaging and left a message since I called after business hours. I left them my number to call back. I also emailed the address they mention when you call that number but I got an alert that the email cannot be found and cannot receive other emails. This company is HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS. They do not care about your pets and using their products might HARM YOUR PET! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Amazon NEEDS to stop selling thus company’s products.

Use with caution
Some cats definitely don't react well to etofenprox, and you want to make absolutely sure the cat can't reach the application site with their tongue. There's one reason to buy this product over competitors: it's cheap. It does kill adult fleas, but not eggs, and not as well as essentially any other common flea spot medication. It seems more irritating to the skin. It is of a chemical class, pyrethroids, in which most other chemicals are extremely acutely toxic to cats. Hartz argues the differences (no cyclopropane, α-cyano, or halo-functional groups) decrease toxicity to mammals. I'm not sure whether it's still metabolized by glucuronidation, but regardless, it is less effective and less well-tolerated than competitors. That is why market forces have rendered it cheap; it wouldn't sell if it were priced similar to other chemicals. If you:(1) Have lots of cats, and/or(2) have cat(s) you know have tolerated it well in the past, and(3) need to save money, and(4) trust yourself to apply it where you cat(s) can't reach it, and they aren't unusually flexible cats, then this may be the product for you. What I have done, having a large number of cats, is apply it to one at a time, and observe them. Sometimes, I have had to wash it off because of hyperactivity, yowling, hiding, and other similar fear and stress responses. If a cat has this reaction, I wash it quickly and thoroughly with gentle soap and warm water until the greasy spot is no longer visible and the smell has dissipated. And I cross that cat off the list for etofenprox, and they get the more deluxe stuff from then on.If I had fewer cats or more money, I would not use this product. But fleas can cause serious complications, and in my experience, cautious, limited use of this product can be safe and effective. It does, by the way, smell absolutely terrible, like an ochem lab where someone knocked over a chemical shelf. It's not like other solvents that, in light doses, are pleasant to some people, like the light smell of gasoline reminding of old big-block carbureted engines. It's piercing, and terrible. That's another reason not to use it, but you're not considering this product because you think it might be the best, so just keep the balancing factors in mind.

Flea & tick med
I have used before but it seems like the formula may have changed as the cat lost hair on his neck and down his back where I applied it. I probably will not buy again

Seems to work
Caution when applying to your cat:One of mine tore off in a hurry when he felt the coolnees of the liquid reach his flesh (successful disbursement, however). The other one reacted similarly, but, instead, to the air bubble 'plurp!' noise I accidentally made when going to apply. Had to re-apply the rest - more carefully - later.Recommend.

Great for the price
We use this on an outdoor cat and never have seen a flea or tick. Great price. Highly recommend.
