Cosmic Memory: The Story of Atlantis, Lemuria, and the Division of the Sexes

Interesting, sort of...
This book has some interest, but to me one needs to understand it in an overall way, rather than the large amount of detail it goes into. It's not so much that its assertions are so far removed from conventional thinking, which they are, but rather that the details of the descriptions seem excessive to me and not worth trying to follow or understand. My takeaway from it is the meta-understanding that humankind MAY have changed enormously over the course of time since our solar system came into being (vastly beyond any inkling of archeological findings), and will continue to do so--with major implications. This is valuable as a perspective that what passes now for human beings is just a stage in a very long development process, and will change equally greatly with the passage of (very long) time. In the latter respect, practically speaking this possible "knowledge" is useless unless one plans a million years into the future... However, the perspective and the implications noted above are that the parameters of human physical and mental consciousness that we take for granted and assume as pretty much the given limits of human capability are in fact only a temporary condition. The obvious implication of THIS is that what is considered human has great potential beyond the (to me very evident) limitations of present consciousness (would be nice...). Why it's taken eons to get to our relatively advanced current state (!), and will take more eons to get to the presumed future much more advanced states I don't know. However to me there IS some practical value in all of this, which is that anything that loosens, even a little, the iron grip built into us by the culture that this is pretty much it, and hence may be even a little bit of an inroad into other worlds of consciousness is very valuable. In other words, anything that at least a little opens the brick wall preventing change in humans does have a lot of value. Which of course doesn't mean that one goes over the deep end with every neon idea that comes along. In fact I am habitually skeptical. EVERYthing has to go through my microscope, my "scrapegoat grate" for those of you who read John Barth's Giles Goatboy.

A Deep Dive Into a Phenomenal Perspective
I have read this book many times. You have to have some relationship or understanding of Steiner’s enormous body of work to relate to Cosmic Memory. For me, it changed the way I perceived the world, but it is pretty far out for most people in my experience.

Brilliant Insight into the Ascension of Life Using Akashic Records
I have read this book many times over many years and each time I become more enchanted by the channeled knowledge that is presented. Steiner shows us the knowledge that is possible through reading the Akashic Records. This perspective on the ascension of life on Earth takes us far beyond evolution as we have come to know it. For those with an open mind and a spiritual inclination, this is a wonderful, eye-opening read.

Outstanding piece of work
A must for anyone with interest in the history of mans evolution, and of course Atlantis. Fascinating accounts of the root races. The language can be a little hard to get used to but a great read nevertheless.

Interesting research
I have heard a lot about Atlantis and previous civilisations but never found a book that would almost scientifically describe the whole subject in such depth and detail. Rudolf Steiner has collected a lot of information and wrote this and other books based on thorough research almost 200 years ago!! -which in fact makes me wonder where he got all this information from and stating it 'matter of factly'? The book is well-written and well-translated but not so easy to read because of the language and the concepts presented, so I am going to read it again for the second time paying attention to different parts this time. It definitely inspires me to find out more on the subject from a variety of other sources if I can.

PRODUCT COVER BENT IN HALF
When I received this book the front cover was bent and formed a triangle???? How that wasn't noticed is beyond me. The body of the book was fine.
