Amazing growth!
Planted these in Austin TX and they are doing great! Tips... Dig hole at least 2X the size of pot. Use outdoor (important that's outdoor) potting soil. Plant during bamboo running season (check your local area) Water until, water puddles every day for 1st 14 days... Then every 3 days. Once they take off... You can tell if watered good by looking next morning and you should see water droplets at the end of leaves

Nice looking plant! I hope it lives...
It shipped and arrived way earlier than expected and it's a beautiful specimen but it sat in a hot UPS truck all day in Texas July heat and the root ball was just hot as hell. The box looked like it was kicked down the street and partially open so hopefully it got a little air flow but I can't blame the seller for UPS's stupidity like some raters like to do. I also dig the the review by the lady who clearly doesn't understand how bamboo grows and gave it 1 star for her ignorance.. This is my 5th bamboo I've bought from these people and every one of them has been great. My black bamboo hedge has taken off so much in the past 4 years that I've been able to transplant dozens of 6-7ft "sprigs" for lack of a better term, all around the border of my property

No labels
I have no idea what I got. 2 different plants were ordered. I don’t know what I got. The plants looked like green sticks in dirt. No leaves and very sparse roots were present in the plastic wrapped pots. I hope they grow. Disappointed to say the least. I’ll never purchase plants from Amazon or Florida Bamboo nurseries!

Healthy but overpriced for small plant
I recently ordered 3 plants from another farm in Florida that ships using UPS so basically I am comparing them to this Amazon seller. The stalks were few and thin as if they grew from seeds that sprouted less than 6 months ago. It included a piece of paper with some instructions which was nice. The included picture has a ginger plant in the background to give you an idea of stalk thickness. Update: 3 yrs later it is thriving and one of my nicest plants (with 3 addl clumps from the original). Some sellers use cuttings instead of seeds which makes it harder to know how long it will last. In that regard it is worth paying a little more. This is in NE Florida.

Satisfied !
The seller responded to my questions in a timely manner and sent me the photos of the bamboos which are available for me to choose from. 2 bamboos arrived in a well packed box. They are very healthy . Each with multiple branches which are about to shoot is 8- 9 ft tall and almost the same height as our existing ones. They came being gently bent in half to fit in the box like other online bamboo sellers always do but in a few days, they usually start to adjust themselves. After the spring rain, the bamboo trees seem to love to be planted under the warm Southern California weather. I will buy different variety of the bamboo from this seller again !!!
