Sharpening Stone working and holding up well
Ordered the DMT Sharpening Stone fine grit and a Haptone 4" stone holder to use it with my Work Sharp Precision sharpener. The DMT stone is working and holding up well after being used to sharpen around 10 of our kitchen knives. Keep in mind I use this stone along with other stones of courser and finer grits and finish the knives edge with a leather strop. I have also used this DMT fine grit stone in a stand alone fashion to put a finer edge on a set of garden snippers. I am happy with this purchase.

Smooth
I think this is a great product. The diamond surface is smooth is smooth, not bumpy. I own several different sharpening stones and different types. This is well made and ideal for touching up an edge or finishing it off depending on how much time you want to put into sharpening your knives and how sharp you want them. I believe this is 600 grit. Some people like to go to 1000 plus to finish the edge on their knife. However I find that this grit does well and if you know hat your doing you can get a really sharp edge. Shipping is always fast with amazon. I really enjoy buying the items i want with free super saving shipping.

Diamond Sharpener (Fine)
I bought this sharpener to use in my KME Knife and Broadhead Sharpening System, and it works very well in that device. Metal does tend to build up in between the particles and requires washing. Oil is not needed.

Nice small sharpner to attach to sheath.
Most knives fail to make adequate use of the sheath. They should all have a small sharpener attached at the very least. I can think of several things I would like to attach to a sheath but being able to keep the knife sharp in the field makes a difference.

There was a flaw that needed ground off.
After smoothing out a high spot, it works well. The high spot needed ground off, so it stopped dulling my blade.

it is much better than my whetstone in sharpening
Working perfectly , it is much better than my whetstone in sharpening .I also used it to sharpen my mothers small garden scissor besides my collection of knives + kitchen knives. I definitely recommend it.

This stones are not like the Dia sharp of years ago
The 325 grit is more like 15 micron... forget about reprofiling on the course stone, it leaves the finish of a 15 micron stone and cuts way way to slow for reprofiling. It's not a bad finishing stone to be honest, it leaves the finish of a typical jis 1000 grit. The stones wear incredibly fast as well, like 10 sharpenings and its already just like the dmt fine leaves a nearly identical scratch pattern and finish. If you get a dmt Dia sharp stone that was produced 7 to 8 years ago or longer that is one heck of a good diamond stone. The diasharp now just aren't made very well sadly.
