Great little strimmer
I bought this as the sun has finally started to come out, and it's been a solid addition to my garden tools. The lightweight design makes it easy to maneuver, and the cutting width handles overgrown areas efficiently. The quick blade change system is a nice touch, allowing for minimal downtime. In the past, I've spent hours trying to change my blade. However, I did notice that the battery life is somewhat short; after about 30-40 minutes of use, it needs a recharge, which can interrupt longer gardening sessions. Despite this, the trimmer's performance and ease of use make it a worthwhile purchase for maintaining a tidy garden. 5/5 from me.

Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending. Great purchase!
I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing this product due to the comments about fiddly construction of the handle as I have no one to help me. I needn’t have worried. It’s supplied with a small spanner and ratchet to help you. It was easy to attach and I had it ready to use in just over five minutes, so I really don’t understand why people have had issues with it. Anyway, I’m a woman in my 60’s and just over 5ft tall and I had no issues with the weight of this either. I would advise wearing gloves and goggles if cutting tall weeds as was the case for me. I have a small field that was very overgrown, some of the weeds were over 4ft tall and consisted of grass and thick nettles. However I followed the instructions that said you should cut them down bit by bit which worked really well, cutting off the tops first and then moving down the weeds until there was just a stubble at the bottom. Because the weeds were tough, the battery lasted just over 40 minutes which was enough for me as I needed a rest! Changing the blades is a breeze and the holder for spare blades on the handle is a nice touch. For me in Ireland Amazon's Prime wasn’t a delivery option on this item and £28 delivery charge was steep so I took advantage of this by combining purchases of an extra battery and spare blades and I’m glad that I did. Having the spare battery meant that I didn’t have to wait until the original was recharged. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this strimmer and I think Swift have done a great job. It’s powerful and effective and as you can see by the before and after photos it can take on tough weeds with relative ease. I still have to finish the rest of the field by the way, waiting for a dry day! Based on this strimmers performance I’m hoping to save enough to buy their hedge trimmer next!

Pretty decent trimmer let down by unnecessarily fiddly assembly
Previous reviews had commented on how easy this is to put together. No longer. Given that the manual supplied with the product did not match what was in the box it would appear the fixing for the handle has been changed. For the worse it would appear. You now need the dexterity of a pianist and the strength of a prop forward to attach the fixing bolts. I contacted the company who advised me to use pliers and download an updated manual online. Hmmm! I eventually got the bolts in (the wrong way round) and the trimmer works very well, easily outperforming the Black & Decker it replaced. The blades are pretty strong (the did come off a couple of times when they hit an oak tree but were not broken and are simply reattached). It's well balanced making it easy to manoeuvre around a garden full of obstacles. The battery recharges quickly. Were it not for the assembly it would warrant an outstanding review. But Swift have scored an own goal with the changes to the handle assembly.

Very light weight cordless strimmer
This cordless strimmer is proving really useful for tidying up the garden. It comes with a 40V 80Wh Samsung lithium battery, which sounds powerful and long-lasting. This means you can use it without needing to worry about cords or finding a power outlet nearby.I love how unbelievably light weight it is and how it can easily switch from being a trimmer to an edger. This versatility means you can use it for different tasks in the yard without needing separate tools.Meanwhile, the 25cm cutting diameter with a nylon blade sounds like it could cover a good amount of area efficiently. This could make trimming the grass or edging along sidewalks quicker and easier. The swift quick exchange nylon blade system is a handy feature. It means you can change the blade quickly and without much hassle, so you can get back to work faster.Having a one-side push button for simple starting is great. It makes it easy to get the strimmer up and running without having to pull a cord or use a complicated starting process. One thing to consider is that the nylon blade may wear out over time and need replacing. It's important to factor in the cost of replacement blades when considering the overall value of the strimmer.Overall, the cordless strimmer is proving a great light weight tool for garden work, with features that make it easy to use and versatile for different tasks.

Excellent Garden Trimmer
I bought this trimmer for cutting grass on edges of my garden and also plants which grow on side of the garden. This is excellent product with easy to use and light weight to use. It has good battery life. I would recommend it to everyone.

Blades Awful
Great battery strimmer. Downside is the plastic blades. I’ve used it three times on my lawn and each time both plastic blades have snapped and then disappeared. They break you immediately accidentally hit a tree or bush trunk or stone or fence. The six spares have all been used in two weeks.
