Komodo Advanced Combined Digital Thermometer and Hygrometer,Black

Looks nice. I wonder if the humidity is accurate though.
This is a smart little meter, which came with a sticky pad to attach to the inside of the tank. It's easy to read. It's the accuracy I question. The temperatures look plausible. The humidity I am convinced cannot possibly be correct, reading substantially lower than I think must be possible. The tank gets a physical extensive automatic mist twice a day, and even immediately after (or during!) this, the humidity reads somewhere between 60-75%, and I don't know how that can be possible: I would expect around 90%, and the meter has never managed to read even up to 90% under any circumstances - which must be impossible for an enclosed tank getting physically mistings, surely. I'll leave it there, as I only need something indicative and will calibrate it to my gut-feeling about the issue: one day I'll test it with a proper meter but I can't afford one now.

Wonderful Product
I actually have three of Komodo's combined digital thermos now because I like them so much. It's great being able to monitor both the hot and cold end of my vivariums with one device, as well as the humidity. I love that it has alarms to warn if something becomes to low or high - you should always have your heating elements on a stat but the added security is great seeing as outside factors can affect your vivs. The controls are a bit of a pain, my advice would be to just keep the booklet handy in case you need it, it's easy to forget which buttons to press and when for what you need to do given that there are so many options for this device. They seem to be reasonably accurate, but if you're looking to make sure or need extremely specific temperatures then you should probably also invest in an infrared gun too.If you have a 5ft vivarium with another vivarium on top you might struggle to stretch the wires how you need them, if placing the monitor outside of the viv. I have a 5ft with a 3ft on top and the wires aren't long enough for me to really position the unit in a good way - there's not enough to put the unit on top of the 3ft and not enough to put it at the sides of the 3ft without stretching at least one of the probes taut either way. All in all, I really like this product, it's a little on the expensive side but for me all the alarm functions etc make it worth the money.

I Have Several!!!
This product is the only thermometer I would consider for a bearded dragon vivarium. It measures the hot end, and the cool end and also has a humidity probe which I place in the middle. The only drawback is that the instructions are really not that helpful but a quick google and you can find a video or blog detailing how to use it. Once you get the hang of which buttons to press for accessing the cold end reading it only takes a second or two to check it whenever you want. I currently have 3 of these in use in different vivariums and it really is the only one I will buy in future, even if the instructions are a bit ropey ;)

Very happy, exactly what I wanted and more than I expected.
This is great. I have it for my Python and it is very handy. The beeping lets me know that something isn't in the right range that I've allowed it to be and is great when I come home from college because I can have a quick peek at the display and that tells me immediately if it's too high/low.It also seems to be very accurate as I also have an infra-red thermometer that I use to see if I can trust products, and I can definitely trust this.Very please, and honestly I think it's worth the money as you can also monitor two places at once with the thermometers, meaning I can quickly check the high and low temperature areas.Overall, very happy.

Brilliant!
Large, clear display. Responsive and accurate. Apart from that, I love the fact that it's got a little hole on the back so it can be hooked instead of attached permanently this enabling me to take readings from all over my tank and this making it able to create a temperature gradient for my snails. Great value.

Useful with a very strange menu
Not a bad unit at all. Liked the idea of two temp probes for either warm and cool end of the vivarium or one in and one out plus humidity. The item works well and seems calibrated when the results are compared against other probes. The only downside is a really daft menu system. For example to switch the view between the two different temp probes requires several presses of two buttons completely undermining the whole point. Whoever designed the menu and display is clearly in the wrong line of work. Other than that a useful item.

Reduced rating Poor quality, On my second one so not sure about quality.
UPDATE my second unit lasted 3 months then failed like the first one. I have returned it and got my money back.I purchased this as i wanted a neat all in one solution and you do pay a premium for it. The unit its self is tidy but the first one i had just died after a month of use, lost all display so i replaced the battery and nothing at all. I now have a replacement. If this one does the same i will get a refund and but separate units for half the price.

Analog one works well.
Bought this along with 6 small digital Thermometers and Hygrometers (cheap ones). This and all 6 showed the same temp and humidity over a 3 hour period (only around 1c temp and 2% humidity variance on the digital ones compared to this). It's fairly easy to read and does exactly what it is supposed to, so worth the money in my opinion.
