Bike fixture Yikes! Track Awesomesauce!!
I wanted to give the track gear bike kit 4.5 stars. For the track I would give it 5 stars! For the “easy” bike fixtures, 2 stars. It is not as simple to use. Hooks on great to the track but putting the bikes up? Lord have mercy! I purposefully got this kit cuz it said this is easy and the video made it look easy. Not so much. Pinched my fingers, smacked my knee, other body parts I can’t mention to the public - had a really hard time hanging these bikes. I wanted this fixture so I could easily get them up and down. I wouldn’t recommend it, make your life easier, use a hook. For all practical purposes YES the track easy to install and you can feel the sturdiness. Downfall to installation: need two people unless you caulk it first and let it dry. One person can’t hold the track in place and drill at the same time. I recommend that you drill in the center studs first and screw them in after you level it off. Then the rest you can do by yourself. I am overall happy with the end result. Bikes are hung neatly out of the way. I just really am going to have get use to the bike hanger!

This storage rail is solid. It was easy to install and easily holds my beach cruiser, baby stroller, kayak drivetrain, and my helmets. Totally worth the money if purchased on Amazon. My local Home store sells it for 40% more than amazon which is why I didnt buy it until I found it on Amazon.Yes you can hang all your toys on hooks, but for long term use, I think the Gladiator rails make your garage look way more organized and you don’t have to keep drilling holes anytime you want to relocate the hooks.
