Cute little mug, I ordered this one as a replacement for my last one that died after a trip through the dishwasher.This one holds a spot in my heart within my collection of mugs, mainly because of how much I love the simplicity and execution of the design. It's very reminiscent of the Legend of Zelda heart, though I suppose it could apply to any pixel heart design in gaming.Good mug, works like you'd expect it to. The color-change dye is rather responsive and resilient, so long as you keep it out of the dishwasher! Very important that doesn't happen, otherwise the dye gets overwhelmed and loses its color-change capability. Still, I won't fault this mug for that flaw since it was entirely my fault lol.Great gift, and great for coffee/tea/cocoa/whatever else. I sometimes like to use mugs for holding milk while I eat cookies. Good stuff.

Do not accidentally run in the Dishwasher - it will mess this up so badly. Beyond that, I love getting coffee in my Keurig because it slowly fills the coffee mug with hot water and I get to watch it change. The cute little animals just make me happy. The coffee mug isn't too hot to the touch and functions great. Love it. Best present for a coffee lover

I really enjoyed this product, packaging is good, and its very nice. I found the heart could have been slightly bigger, but what you see in the image is what you get. As long as you follow the instructions of not dishwashing it so the sticker dies and tears/melts, and you hand wash its a great product. My beef (which is obvious after use) is that the sticker doesn't fill up like a heart, but more so that the black just fades into red after you fill the cup. It really only works best after the newly brewed beverage has been poured into it immediately. It made a nice gift for my wife, and she loves Legend of Zelda things, so she thought Zelda or Minecraft hearts after she got it. (She mainly thought Minecraft since we use to play it a lot before.)

Now, however I see that it is $8.25. If you pay this you will be sorely disappointed with the product that you will receive. The coloring of the "battery" when it "fills up" is very splotchy. So, for that price, not worth it. But for $3, it serves its purpose as a coffee mug, which really isn't all that hard to do, just fine. I bought a couple of them and put them in the breakroom at work, fun little novelty item when people are getting their morning coffee.

I'm not sure if I should give it 1 star, but I wanted to have the atention of the potential buyers, since I saw other reviewers complaining that this was fake but since I have bought more than 15 mugs (I love to give this as a gift :D ) over the past years I wasn't worried so I bought as I usually do. So I was looking for a name...a seller name not to buy from, and none of the reviewers who was the seller, so in my case it was "CARDNSUCH" ... so my advise is not to buy from them until I figure out was going on.The mugs are great! I know that this is a product review, I already reviewed the seller, but I think this is more helpful.Update 06/08/2014So I bought another mug, from a different seller...I know I know, I should have learned my lesson, and I got another replica this time the seller was "Handysmart".

I had purchased one of these before. Moved and it was broken. I found this exact replacement on Amazon and it was shipped and received in a timely manner. It did not have any chips or nicks in it. It was perfect and my wife loves it.

I was looking for a present for my boyfriend, who is an avid tea drinker, for Valentine's Day. However, I was skeptical. I couldn't believe that the mug would actually turn colors. When the mug arrived, I immediately tested it out. It changed right before my eyes and I was so pleased! I almost wanted to keep it for myself. (I just might buy myself one too). He's also a gamer, so the pixelated heart is a nice fit. It's a little pricey, but well worth it! This mug is an adorable way to show your love for someone (or yourself!).

We love this mug! The temp on the heart still works after a year of use and the mug is still in mint condition (no staining or peeling of the heart). The mug doesn't retain heat as much as I would like but I'm pretty sure that is standard for this style of mug and not a fault of the manufacturer. I would recommend this mug to anyone else looking for something fun and neat that actually works and will continue to work.
