don't waste your money
Wobbles and is very noisy - doesn't work - doesn't fit snug - wish I could return but missed the return window by 1 day after trying all the trouble shooting options and they refuse to let me return it

Great idea
The original insert wore out and I thought I was going to have to replace my Saris rack, this nifty little thing thing allows me to continue to use it!

Saris-only rack lock
This is needed for my Saris bike rack. It seems a bit expensive for a pair of locks and a cable, but it does the job. This is only for the Saris rack as it is threaded to match the bike rack itself. It was easy to install. I am sure it is possible to cut the cable, but my objective is to make my bike a little bit harder to steal than the next car over so mine is skipped. Nothing can completely prevent theft.

Use with 1.25" and hitch tite
This allowed me to connect my 2" hitch to use the Saris Freedom 2-bike hitch rack. This bolts on to the original 1.25" hitch receiver but needs the plastic hitch tite to lock into. Then the adapter bolts into the 2" hitch on the car with the large bolt that goes through the adapter and the stock hitch receiver. Good product! Quality part.

This lock and cable compliment our Saris Freedom 2 Bike Hitch Rack. So easy to use and appears strong and durable. I'm sure someone that really wants to steel a bike could still do so, because nothing is likely stop the pro that really wants your bike! However, our bikes are not $500+ bikes, so likely not a target. And there really would need to be effort/planning to get at your bikes. Both locks are keyed the same, so 1 key fits both. There are 2 keys included with the set. Very happy with our purchase!
