Its like kitty crack. If your cat needs to gain weight, try this
This stuff is amazing, only wish I had found it sooner. I have super senior cat (20+) who was always super healthy but got really skinny with age (he also has mild kidney disease and mild hyperthyroidism). He started having dental issues and couldn't eat his favorite dry food and treats. Given his relatively good health for his age, we opted to risk sedation and removed most of his teeth 5 months ago. His was trooper through surgery but his recover has not been easy. He lost interest in food, I started using an appetite stimulant and that worked for a while. But he's lost a lot of weight. Scary amount which I know is common in hyperthyroid cats (he is on meds). I was researching high calorie food and supplements for cats and stumbled on this product in a Reddit thread. Love that I can just sprinkle this into his wet food or mix with water to make a paste or milk" and pour over his current wet food. It stinks really bad but he goes absolutely nuts for this stuff, gobbles it down (we no longer need the stimulant). Now he will not eat unless I use this stuff. It is kitty crack. It has only been about 2 weeks so I am not sure if it is helping his weight given his other health issues, but he is eating ferociously so I am hopeful - even a pound would help!

Must have emergency food!
Absolutely a must have on hand if you own ferrets or carnivorous reptiles. I own both and this stuff has saved their butts more times than I can count, it is easy to mix up and the thickness is easy to adjust with water or unflavored pedialyte (talk to your vet!).Very easy to digest from what I have seen coming out the other end, the ingredients are solid and it's formulated to AAFCOS guidelines for adult cats so it can be fed to some species indefinitely (with a vets guidance). The taste seems to be good as my ferrets love it and it really helps stimulate appetite.

Saved my Leopard Gecko
This helped my Leopard Gecko recover from becoming very thin when he suffered an illness. He is now mostly off this and mostly back to happily eating bugs. Will definitely use again if needed though hopefully I'll never need to.

It works!
One of our cats had lost her appetite and was acting very skittish. This feeding formula made a huge difference in getting her appetite back. The first day we fed her this 4 times (spaced through the day) gradually mixing her canned (expensive) food back in for part of it by the 3rd feeding. Today she's been fed twice as described and she walked over to her mate's bowl and started scarfing down food... I am ordering more just to have on hand to try and get her weight back up.

High quality supplement but won’t eat it bc of smell
Better than Duk soup for nutrition and digestion for ferrets in palliative, hospice care or in recovery from acute illness or surgery. However, the smell is a huge turn-off. I have yet to find on of my rescue ferrets actually eat it but others swear by it. Quality supplement, by far. Only gave 4 stars bc of scent.

My 18 year old cat immediately began eating this after not wanting any other foods
My kitty will be 18 next month. Not entirely sure if she will make it. She has reduced her eating and drinking, and it quite frail. Wanting to make sure that she is taking in enough water and nutrition, I began looking for a supplement. A geriatric cat group I am in recommended this. I didn't know much about it when I purchased it other than it looked like a complete nutrition item, and that it could be given to them to lap up or perhaps dropper fed. Figured it was worth trying. My order arrived- somehow- within 24 hours. I'm writing this review a day after receiving it. As soon as I got it, I prepared a dish for my baby girl, Kayla. It reminded me of the broth powders and powdered milks I buy my cats and dogs on occasion: just combine the powder with some water. Add more or less water depending on what you need. She dove right in! I was nearly in tears seeing her taking in nutrition and water. I gave her as much as she wanted, and it was amazing to watch her ingest this product. She is already extremely picky, and I have all sorts of wet foods, baby foods, and other foods for her-- but she has been not happy with anything. I also noticed she hadn't been drinking like she was. She'd go up to the water bowl but not drink. So to see her EAT AND DRINK, I felt so much better. I don't know what is in store for her in coming days, but right now I am glad to have this product. So whatever this is, it was appealing to her.I have already ordered 2 more bags because this doesn't make that much. I think I am already through half the bag.1 TBS = 4 grams. This 70 gram bag contains 17.5 servings.24 calories per TablespoonMy girl is in the 4-5 pound range, so that would put her in the 6 tablespoons a day recommendation. So 3 day supply? More or less depending on her appetite and what else she may eat. Also, she has a litter mate brother who IS eating and drinking ok, yet still finds his way over to her bowl of this. He likes a few laps then walks away. Figure it is good for him to have it too.I am mentioning this as a way to help you decide how much to get.

Used this long time ago on a dying reptile he's 4 now.
Wasnt expecting a sick asian water monitor to survive. Spent $175 on him, $350 on an exotic vet and $60 on medications. He had an upper respiratory infection and wasn't eating. Syringe feeding him this brought him back to life, he was limp weak and barely opened his eyes. 3 days of Critical Care and he was on his way to being healthy and happy. Fresh, convenient, took a bit longer to come in than expected but I'm glad it made it here for him. High quality for carnivores. The same lizard in both pics, 1 when we first got him i was able to hold him between 2 fingers he was smaller and fit in my palm. Now he's almost to 4 Ft and healthy and thriving. He was only on Critcal Care for 3-7 days can't remember because it was so long ago but now he eats Quail Chicks, Chicken gizzards, hearts, livers, eggs, crickets, mice, crayfish, shrimp and much more. Well worth the investment for a healthy lizard.
