this booklet has helped me study for the test to become an officer. It has more in-depth information than previous study guides I have used in the past.

I used this to book to help me study for my test. To answer everyone's question, did the book help me study? Yes! The book provides information on how the test will be laid out. It will prepare you for the concepts that are on the actual test. Do NOT expect any of the questions in this book to be on the test because it will NOT, as stated, just the concepts and what sort of problems to expect. There are are some incorrect answers in the book, so this book needs to be reviewed and revised.I did not pass my test, I passed one section and failed the math. I do NOT blame my failure on the book. The book is actually a good resource. The test is TIMED, 25 mathematics question to be answered in 22 minutes with similar questions that are in the book is completely unrealistic. I will take it again, and next time test my speed as oppose to trying to do long algebra. I do recommend this book, but I also recommend getting other books to assist in your studies as well. This book is not the end all be all. Good Luck!

I am studying for the AFOQT that I will be taking this Spring. We do not have in class study time, so I purchased your book to help me study. I have found it incredibly helpful so far and look forward to continue using it.

I am currently using this book as my main study material for the AFOQT. Each section covers the basis of what each subtest might have. Unfortunately, there were a few mistakes I found, mostly during the practice test at the end of the book. One example would be question 4 on the Math Knowledge test where the answer explains to use the formula for the area of a cylinder and then states the formula as V = pi r^2 h. This is the formula for the volume of a cylinder; the correct formula for area would be A = 2 pi r h + 2 pi r^2. Another example I found was in the Reading Comprehension subtest. Question 12 asks "In the third paragraph, the world collateral most nearly means". Yes they typed out "world" instead of "word", but the main issue with this question is that the word 'collateral' is not used in the entire article, let alone paragraph three, so I had to guess the answer because I was under a time constraint. There are more mistakes made in the main study areas of the book, and these really mislead me. I am giving the book a three star rating because it still has its uses such as the general understanding of the AFOQT and study points for the reader to look up online for more material.

The AFOQT study guide was worth the purchase. It really did come in handy. It had great study material and practice questions.

Great book. Thankful for the updated portion. Everything was summarized well. I wish there were more practice tests, though.
